Top 3 600PP on Nordschleife from the news 1.49 update cars , same pace as Lambo Miura. A bit technical to drive but nothing hairy , just need precision in your wheel inputs. I've spent around 4 hours looking for the safer and faster option.

You can use the same setting for Tokyo , just set Sport hard tires , front downforce at 32 , power restrictor at 92 and the top speed at 6th gear to 345 kmh = 214 mph.

I was about to give-up with this car , very hard to set , i had only a mediocre setup option and right now after doing the original engine tune , i tested it on the SWAP . Excelent , good to drive and performant. I only set harder springs. Here it is.
Under 4 minute on Le Mans 3 laps at FM 5. SPA also is a good track for it or any kind of track.
All is well that ends well.

For @MAXXI
You don't need all this engine tuning for 700PP.
Top car .This is an excelent car , very precise drive , good grip , perfect technical track , top car on SPA or similar.

New setting , just to let the car more controlable due to 1186HP , Same path as 1.40 but easier car. Still need some skills and throttle control out slow and medium speed corners.

Hi Praiano, I don't know why but I cannot set my first gear to have that ratio. Any help?

Hi Praiano, I don't know why but I cannot set my first gear to have that ratio. Any help?
There is no way to set this gearbox anymore since some updates ago. Just don't use 1st gear. The longer 1st gear you can get 88 kmh is when set top speed auto at 400 kmh. Use the 2nd gear in a way of 1st , set last gear to the speed you want and spread the intermediary gears heavently between 2nd and 8th. You can use 1st gear to induce more turn in during very slow turn like hairpin....

Lancia Delta HF Int EVO '91 - 600PP - Sport Medium tires - Nordschleife - 1.49

Number 1 road car for Nordschleife for the moment. I use the a manual customizable gearbox , i put some more needed HP in the way.
Remember the power curve stay at the mid RPM , shift at 8000 rpm , the top speed seems very high at 340 kmh but when you reach the top speed at end of straight , you need to be at 7200 rpm where the max power is. That's why. With a shorter gearbox , you''ll lose 10 kmh top speed.
The grip is very good but you have to be accustomed with the car to find the best way. After 1 lap you'll find the best way to do for sure. It's a mix of gears , brakes , accelerator and wheel. It's a very reactive car. If you brake too late , it's not the best way to do , don't give to much wheel angle. You'll drift , nothing bad , only losing some speed.

Exactly the same on the same corner i have every pass
What wheel do you use and what settings? I'm wondering if it's hardware related after the update or solely driving style related as apparently praiano doesn't get that issue with the same tune

I use a t300rs with torque at 4 or 5 and sensitivity at 1

After update the car is 60 lbs heavier and 40HP less for the same 600PP on Sport medium tires.
It's not a dominant car anymore but still fast and still with a great driving pleasure on Nordschleife or any technical track. On Tokyo using Hard tires it's just medium.

It's sad to see a tuning that balanced performance and driving pleasure go from the #1 contender on Tokyo to Mid after an update. But when one door closes, another one opens. Thankfully we have plenty of doors to open and explore to go alongside changes that will be beneficial in the long run.

Speaking of Number 1...2 laps of this on the Green Hell in your hands would be a "Faszination" video that I and others here would love to see.

And when you find that #1 contender for Tokyo again I'm sure we would all enjoy the video of the first 2 laps on Tokyo that are always the most challenging.

how good do you think it would be not widebodied, maestro praiano? I can't bring myself to install it

EDIT: i just saw your reply above im so dumb sorry
I thought about this at first too and was worried when I saw that buying a new body is the same price as buying a whole new car. So for a car like the McLaren F1 we are talking about a potential 20+ million USD mistake. But then I realized that Praiano's tunings almost always make the cars more driveable and more competitive when used in the high payout grinding races.

Do you want to leave off the widebody so you can have a little bit more top speed for Route X?

Or do you want to trust in Praiano's tuning and be able to use it on WTC 600, 700, and 800 races that are much better payouts to earn credits faster so you can spend more?

This video should offer further explanation as to why Praiano typically will go widebody and make these expensive cars more useful for the racetracks that are more popular and not sit there and collect dust in your garage.

Whilst I am sure you'll be able to find some tweaks & improvements, (I'm not the fastest driver) I am finding that a lot of your more recent tunes (pre 1.49) are still viable in 1.49. It seems more like the much older ones struggle in 1.49.

Strange, I'm at 712.85pp with your settings. Had to reduce Power Restrictor 85 to get to 699.48pp, 0-400 m 10.15 now. Not much different I know but sometimes I wonder if regional servers make differences?
Anyway as always cheers for your hard work, 👍🍻

Yes , i've found around 15% of the cars buggy , 70% just ok and some points to be ameliorated ( better handling) , 15% with almost same performance and behaviors.

I really don't know why .... There were only one mistake on my precedent published setting , that was the "Offset wide in the way of Standard" , but it was a very small diff like 0,80 PP only. Not 13PP. It's a lot , i'll check again point by point or buy a new car to rebuild..

Love this tune. You worked your magic well @praiano63 !

Super smooth shifting and balanced driving. Very stable while breaking as well, a real pleasure on the ring

Great video, thanks for sharing!
My main concern regarding wide body is for races that disallow that option.
For what appears to be marginal grip gains of WB it doesn’t seem worth the cost and permanent change to car. IMO

@praiano63 Hi Maestro, on your latest tuning sheets like the R32 GT-R V spec '94 or the Lamborghini Miura, I can't get the same gear ratios as yours. On the Miura it's even worse, with equivalent configuration I get 610pp.
Do other people have the same problem or is it just me?

Hi, I found the problem with my Lamborghini Miura with too much PP.
My copy did not have the wide kit, so 10pp more, what logic on the part of PD...
On the other hand, I have a problem with the gear ratios of the MC20: there is a big gap between the 1st and 2nd gear. I tried to adjust the box in different ways, nothing works...

Adjust top speed to 340, then adjust 2nd to 8th gears, then move 1st gear to roughly where it is in Praiano's graph, then finally adjust final drive. DO NOT TOUCH 1ST GEAR AFTERWARDS.

Mythic car . I set the car for grip but still with a very good top speed. For Le mans you can low the front downforce a bit and add some more power. Up to you. Very stable and easy for any kind of drivers.

Top 600PP on Nordschleife , a lot of grip , easy to lead . Like most of the 4WD in this game after update , you need to play with all inputs to be fast. Brakes , accel gears and wheel. Very fun and educative.
I use manual gearbox to gain some performance points and HP.
