i was stuck on transmission tweeking, lots of great stuff here! Keep up the good work!

Thanks, good if it help you. This is the simple generic way to set a gearbox but it work well.
This method can be a problem for 5 gearboxes on low HP cars, tuned for a high speed track. Then, the first gear is too long and it become a problem for online race with grid start, you simply will loose 1 or 2 positions. In this few cases , use the stock gearbox , setting your max speed with the to speed cursor normally.

Hi mate, your tunes are a huge help for me cause i prefer putting all my efforts on driving rather than spend time on tuning my car ( except for some basilar tunes but nothing more than that). So may i ask you some help on tuning a GTR Skyline for a certain competition that i'm involved in ?

If i'm not bothering you can i give the infos by PM ? Cause we are using certain settings of the car that are not the same of your tunes ... i'm already using your tune for the 550 GTR but i feel like it would've been better if adapted to how my car is setted ( it's a GTR with 525 PP )

Hi, sorry but i don´t take any request for the moment, i´m involved in this fantastic shootout 400PP cars comfort soft on Nurburgring as a tuner and also as a tester. I love this event, i´m like a kid with all this cars.
But there is so much cars to choose one only and it will have so much to test after this ..
I don´t pretend to tune any new tune till the end of this shootout. Only will publish the few cars i have almost finish .

I've found that generally, front-engine vehicles will oversteer a bit more and mid/rear-engine vehicles suffer from a twinge of understeer... Though there are exceptions.

I agree! When I drove the zonda r the thing I notice that car understeers in the faster corners and better in the slower corners so that why I never drive that car around the ring because I couldn't find a perfect tune for it

Praiano tu nem sonhas o dilema que tem sido por aqui! tenho que estudar para a faculdade mas ao mesmo tempo so penso procurar carros para o shootout!! ahahahaha é o primeiro em que participo e esta a ser espetacular! ate agora so ainda cheguei aos 8 minutos e 40 s.. mas vou tentar conseguir chegar mais baixo.. tenho que experimentar mais carros mas ja experimentei mais de 20!
ps: adorei o renault 5 turbo mas duvido que ele seja capaz de ficar facil e rapido de conduzir.. demasiada sobreviragem.

Another fantastic and very fast car . The stock have a little bit lazy front in my opinion,this tune let it more (a lot more) agressive. The excelent grip and driving line allow this. Anybody can push this car to his own limits.

This car was specially tuned for the 400PP Nordschleife Shootout from Milady CSLACR. First i was not sure to present this tune , it was fast but difficult to drive hard . Then i went online , like i always do for a normal tune and only there i have found enough sensations on the wheel , to correct some little things and let the car easy easy like a Mitsubishi Lancer on race soft tires. . Very good top speed also. Hope it will have a good result. This is already my personal favorite 400 PP street car racer.

CAR ON SHARE, who want to build this car don´t need to let it with old oil, it was just because of the rules of the shootout. Need to change oil yes, and use power limiter that was forbiden for this contest.

Here it is with the definitive configuration, change oil, engine overhaul, it lose 5 HP but gain in torque and better flat large power band. For who don´t like to drive dirty cars. Need also to use power limiter of course, but the performance is the same...

I used your GT-R R35 TC tune, slightly de-tuned to win the latest B Spec at the Ring. I had to push Bob like a mad man but he was leading before the last big straight. Then he was passed but passed back by the fast left hander. He went on to win by 0.172 seconds. Thank you Sir.

Yeah, I second this question. I've tried a lot of different cars (Suzuki cervo, Peugeot 207, FT-86 Concept, Roadster RS (NC), etc.) and still haven't settled on a main car for 400PP (for both a-spec and b-spec).

Hi, sorry but i don´t do this kind of tunes, i think you just need to match the max HP / RPM /max speed with your last gear , no TOE, enough camber... I think that can be a max speed tune. Of course oil change engine overhaul.... to reach the max power for this car.
I don´t know exactly, i´m not a specialist of this. But it must work.

I think that for this event on the ring, this car is the fastest 400PP , good combination of grip / handling and very good top speed.That´s why i choose it.
For slower track like Tsukuba or Eiger not so sure. If you allow ballast and power limiter more than 1% , you will have some more fast cars for this range of PP . THere is a lot to check to say:This one. Also because it ´s the first time i check so deeply 400PP cars . For 550PP race tires road cars for example , i can say the HONDA or ACURA (same) HSC is the fastest overall car.

So much cars, always room for a good surprise.

For the moment i am too busy with the shootout, i will just tune again after testing all the cars. I have some few to publish but they are almost finished.

I haven't scanned the last few pages, but I'd like to praise Praiano for the work he did on the FT-86 for the Time Trial Seasonal. I was bored today and gave it a shot, and was pretty embarrassingly off pace. I knew part of it was simply adapting to comfort hard, but even with some practice, I hit a plateau, directly related to the lack of a tune I was using. All the tunes were designed for REAL tires, so I sent Praiano a PM and he let me know he had the car on share. I hopped in and took it back to the Seasonal Event and immediately the car felt great. Previously I was having major issues getting the car to turn in, or get any grip from the front tires. After a single corner in Praiano's car, it simply felt like an entirely different car. Drastically dropping my lap times, I was able to cut off off a second from my lap times. Within 15 minutes with his tune I ran in the 1:11's and after an adjustment to brake bias to fit my driving style, finally hit the 1:10.8xx mark. It's extremely stable getting into the turns, and slightly dangerous when trying to get back to the gas on exit. But you can only expect so much from Comfort Hards!

So, again, Thank you Praiano for not only creating the tune, but allowing everyone to 'borrow' the car directly off your profile. Keep up the great work, and good luck to anyone headed to the Time Trail event!
