Remember the release is still 3 months away, and even with my limited familiarity with the Japanese culture, I can tell PD will not ever gimp on their own people.

I agree, PD would not screw over their own home market, everyone who is in the GT in Japan has already bought the game and will be really annoyed if they don't get all the stuff that the rest of the world gets...

As for this motorcycle thing as has been said the only time PD showed bikes and cars on the same track was in the GTHD showcase ages ago and its unlikely to happen (even though a lot of other franchises have gone down this route) there will most likely be other TT.

However, I would love things like the Dodge Tomahawk to be in GT even though its technically a bike...

European Bundle for GT5: Prologue has been announced, and now it's accompanied with picture showing the bundle. Retail price should be 399 euros while bundle should be on disposal day after the solo-game - March 29. Official announcement is still on hold. Notice that bundle should come with "normal" Sixaxis, not with DualShock 3 (wierd).

The DualShock 3 is not released in the US until April with no confirmed date for EU/UK.
Nice box but
I've already got my bundle though.
80GB PS3 + DFP + GT5P(import) +GT5P(preorder) = :)

Who needs DS3 when that person has a wheel? Ill bet the DS3 but for other games.. like burnout, Killzone, MGS4, ETC

my bundle
60GB + G25+ Playseats Evo chair+ GT5P(import) + GT5P US version (preorder) = :)

Sweet box, I wonder if it comes with any other GT goodies, having the standard Sixaxis included is just lame when the MGS4 box will have the DS3..

Look at the two drivers in helmets on the side!

Oh well you can buy a new PS3 everytime there is a new special bundle! :sly:

some pictures of the new cars have been released ! the BMW 135 Tii

Thanks for the link man!! The pics of the EVO X tuned-up is very nice, especially the exhaust system. I hope this is an indiction when the user replaces the exhaust system with an aftermarket exhaust, the changes will be seen visually. It has always bugged me that you could not see the changes being made in the previous GT games.

And not just BMW - all cars on that pictures are "new": TVR Tamora is on (give me my Sagaris now PD :D), Evo is tuned, red Skyline Coupe obviusely has tuner-front-spoiler, and 350Z is also heavy-tuned - it seems like an Opera tuning or something.

Thank you very much for that link, looks like many of the cars in those pics are just modified versions. Like the V36 Skyline coupe, Evo X but I notice the Fairlady Z is a older version as it doesn't have the bonnet/hood bulge of the 07/08 models (which also looks very close to the Opera Perfomance Z in GT4).

and cool we get the TVR Tamora. :)

Forgive my potential ignorance, as I don't have the game, but the background of the first shot of the Tamora doesn't look familiar to me. I'm aware that the new track doesn't hit until the US release, and this could just be another perspective of London, but I'm sure you've all recognized how much I like to speculate on tracks. So does anyone recognize the background in said picture?

Edit: Never mind, figured it out for myself, that is London.

Here's a press release for the NA (EU too I guess) version.

Sorry if it was already posted :embarrassed:

Great work on getting the full list there Alba!

I'd just posted some of the new images in another thread but and had my doubts before i saw the list and the Gamersyde posts too.

Loving the look of the Opera 350Z in the woods... It just looks MEAN!

As for "In depth car tuning", here's hoping that is more than changing tyres, selecting driver aids and "bolt on" BHP upgrades as seen in GT4 Arcade Mode and GT5P.

Roll on March 28th and i hope that Play do their usual trick of dispatching orders too early so i get to play on the thursay instead!

Yep, I can't freaking wait to test the Ferrari F40 :D

Same here legroom, i got the version pre-ordered and they usually ship one day before the usual date so I hope they'll do the same here :D

In addition to GT5P, CD-Wow.com are selling Dual Shock 3's for £36.99 delivered. I'm just waiting for mine to arrive at the moment but will confirm its arrival and whether it's actually any good when it arrives. I didn't object to getting it as it's only £2 more than a normal SIXAXIS controller in the UK!
