Taxes, don't know.

Foreign aid- not sure but I say stop giving money and help to those who hate us or Israel like the Arab nations etc.

National security, take care of our borders by putting up a huge wall around needed areas and increase border patrol immensely and their pay. Protect our borders however possible.

Support Israel. Help protect them. If that means first strike Iran then so be it. Stop being pro muslim like Obama is.

Us death penalty should be enforced for way more people. On purpose Murders should be given the death penalty far more often. Carry out death sentence immediately not freaking years later.

Increase penalties for breaking laws. Make prison much more difficult because they need to be punished and not given such an easy ride in prison.

As I said above, why help anybody? Nobody has a moral obligation to help anybody else. The should be no pro-anybody. We should only be friendly enough to other countries so that we can all trade and prosper economically.

One reason I've heard for increasing the use of death penalty, and sooner, is that it would save a lot of money by not keeping people alive the rest of their lives.

But I've also heard arguments saying penitentiaries should be privatized, thereby removing government spending entirely.

All media is biased. The sooner you come to terms with that the sooner your life will become easier. Look at it all and the truth is either in teh middle or completely hidden from mainstream view.

I won't go through each of your points, but I can say that I don't disagree on abortion, but I think it should be a state issue. I disagree on gay marriage, but because I don't think marriage is, or should be, a legal process. When I married my wife, in a church in front of family and a priest, I didn't give two cents what the government thought of it, though I did have to give them $16 to get them to file some paperwork that joined our financial responsibility.

I think your statement on death penalties is a bit reckless, as immediately carrying out the sentence assumes you believe the system is perfect. We are not China.

Anyway, I think you put too much religious emphasis on your politics for other stuff. That thinking does not coincide with the First Amendment.

Here is my problem, as a Christian, with your opinion. Many Jews and Muslims agree with you, that they should do as God says, but they believe God said different things because we follow different human representatives of God. As a Christian I do not feel it is right to outlaw someone else's religious practices just because they believe that God's chosen broke off from Abraham and had a different prophet or are still waiting for the savior to appear.

I understand but I disagree. And I fear the government you wish to have. Keep in mind that the First Amendment was designed primarily to protect one form of Christian from another form of Christian. We can't even agree with each other as Christians (Muslims and Jews have similar inter-fighting) and had to outlaw religious-based laws to prevent persecution amongst Christians. There are places in other countries where Catholics and protestants still try to fight.

If we initiate law based on religion then we begin debating things like dancing and drinking, caffeine and cigarettes, and so forth. Europe's history is full of Christians fighting amongst each other, and even killing for their own brand of Christianity.

The only way to grant freedom to all Christians is to grant religious freedom to all.

I hope you just said either out of habit, as there are more than just two choices, even if only two have any chance of being elected. Look at the third parties and any independent candidates that may run. The more votes an unknown candidate that you agree with gets the more the establishment truly does hear your voice.

I honestly don't know what Republican means anymore - I'm not sure anybody does - but what it meant when it originated is basically what we call libertarian today, or constitutional conservative. Originally, republicans were named that because they supported the American form of government, our republic, with the constitutional limits on government and freedom of the people and whatnot. Today, the mainstream republican actually supports violating the constitution in many ways, and therefore new terms have popped up to describe political beliefs that have been around since our country's inception, but have lost respect with the mainstream.

Most "republicans" of today can be described as neoconservatives - "new" conservatives - who support military interventionism and a military-based economy, which is most certainly against the beliefs of classical conservatives ("old" republicans), or modern constitutional conservatives and libertarians.

50 or so years ago Republican presidents were in office when we got out of wars started under Democrats.

Korean War: In under Truman and out under Eisenhower
Vietnam War: In under Kennedy/Johnson (mostly Johnson) and out under Nixon

But do not confuse dates with actions. Negotiations were under way when Eisenhower took office and Nixon's 2nd term opponent, McGovern ran on the position of getting us out of Vietnam. But the militarism did take a backseat to ending wars when they needed to be ended.

Well my opinion here wont be as valid as other opinions for US residents,but many friends live and work in the US and I used to be there a couple of years ago(2008).

Well the things about this presidential election this time is that is not entirely controlled by media but by acts,after the obvious hit on Osama a huge support from right wing voters is expected,the same can be said about military and anyone who was affected by the war on terror(military relatives and 9/11 victims),other strong point in Obama's favor is the free health care that he accomplish during his campaign and the recuperation of the US economy during the last year,apart from that (and without baing racist)the guy is black,and large percent of US population are black people favored by his administration.

So taking in count his victory rate over Mc Caine,and the success aspects of his administration ,you can assure that the average US voter will be most likely to have a vote on Obama.

But that is my opinion,I'm not very interested in foreign politics because they not affect me in any way,and foreign policies in the US are reduced to the "war on terror".

I'm Christian and believe the gov should makes law based on Gods way. That's why my previous post seems religious. I'm for God and would want to do and rule as God says. My opinion.

Ireland once based its laws on religious dogma. Women were shut away in institutions run by nuns for supposed "immoral" behaviour. Back then, we were an impoverished hellhole.

Look at Northern Ireland's past. It too based laws on religion, only that these laws promoted one religion (Protestantism) against others (through discriminating against those who belonged to these religions). And you know what happened? There was frequent tit-for-tat fighting between Protestants and Catholics.

Stating that you support small government and a thinly-veiled theocracy sounds like a contradiction to me.

People not Christian would and will disagree and they can't understand without the holy spirit.

I want to put God first in all ways. I don't as I'm not perfect but I know my hearts desire is to love and obey God in all things. So I'd rule and lead my country or city or whatever based on God.

We have fallen away from God as a nation which is why we are in so much trouble and debt etc. The gov sucks in my opinion because they do now follow God as they should. So God won't bless us like he would if we followed him.

My opinion on marriage and abortion is again based on God as everything I think of either is or would be after knowing more.

You ever hear of this thing called the constitution? It's a good read, you should check it out some time.
