Priciest Car You Have Ever Bought?

I just rememberd, I bought a new Toyota for Cr. 4,500,000 and tuned it up fully, I rarly race it, I just wanted to see what speed I could get.

I bought the Chapparel 2J, cost me 1.2Mil! That was a big mistake for me, and it couldn't even win me the race I was going for!

Lets see. I purchased my R8 from my previous game where I won it. I think it was like 3.8 million credits. Quite a bit cheaper than buying it new, and its the same car.

I've noticed that if you buy cars through "Trade" that most of them are discounted from the typical price. Just as long as you are not buying it from a backed up copy of your game which wipes out your garage.

i havent played gt4 for so long and i dont remember, was there a car that costs more than 4.5Mil Cr.?
i remember i used the "All cars are free" gamshark code once, the thing is, any car was purchaseable, that meant concepts costed nothing, HAHAHA. I think i bought the jay leno tank car and if my memory is correct it was like morethan 4.5 mil.

Peugot 905 Race Car is the most expensive race car, Nissan R390 is most expensive road car.

Well technically I didn't buy it, my little brother did (after I told him he wasn't allowed to play in GT mode, only Arcade mode) :grumpy:; that Ford Falcon, 500,000 cr. gone. I'm looking at the bright side of it though, since I'll eventually own every car in GT4 anyways, no big deal.

I put 4.5 mill into the Playstation Pescarlo which was good for a little while,
but now I see that this car stinks royally so now I own a Toyota Minolta something which is another 4.5 mill and now im saving for the Toyota gt-1 which is another 4.5 mill. I guess you can say i have a bad habit of buying the expensive cars.

Actually, both Pescarolos are great cars for both beginners and experienced drivers. The Pescarolo C60 Courage/Peugeot (green & blue) car is very stable under heavy braking and acceleration, albeit a bit slow at the top end, but will offset slower speed with far better tire wear than its peers, such as the Audi R8 or BMW V12 or Toyota GT-One. So, its like the tortoise and the hare; do you want to pit less and drive slower or drive faster but pit more often - depends upon the race. The other Pesca is a bit faster perhaps. I would say the Audi R8 is the best in that class, but my heart belongs to the Pescarolos.

2 cents 👍

Whats the go with everyone buying the Audi R8...theres better cars for less

True. Besides, you don't need to buy the Audi R8 since you can win it in the enduro race - la Sarthe 24 hr endurance, forget which one at the moment.

Most expensive bought. Vantage, but it won the race.

Most money spent on it.....R34 GTR & Spec-C at the moment.

Best money spent.......Buick Special. Cheap, fast fun. :)

Mafs!!

when i first got the game i saw the audi R8 in the audi dealership, i knew i had to get it. i did not want to wait to get it at the sarthe enduro. so i did the capri rally trick several times to acquire 4,500,000 credits to buy the R8.

It was so worth it.:sly:

i agree with him i bought an audi r8 before i started again on the ps3

I've spent my time the last couple days running the DTM on B-spec x3 view speed (fastest way to earn money) in order to buy ALL the race cars. Yes, every single 4.5/3.5 million Group C car and every 1.35 million JGTC 500 car, along with the four black beauties and all those other ones like the Panoz. And I have, and am glad to have done it, because I have fun comparing all the racing cars.

i waited until the black racecars were in the used car lot. i spent about $5.8 million and i got: the toyota GT-ONE, nissan R92CP, and the mazda 787B i was totally worth it

While we're talking about the Black Beauties, why on earth is that other Nissan (can't remember the number, the one that's not the R92CP) one of them. It's not even close to as good as the others. Total waste of 2 mil+ credits. Why couldn't it be an Audi or something!
