New time 1'07.764

So I was playing with some toe, and Negative front toe seems to allow me to go alittle faster around the momentum turn after the tunnel. Also, I found out that having your ride hight all the way up on both ends, seems to give you a lot more accel points.

I think I'll try the Subie, I'm going slower with the Clio now that I've screwed up my tune.

1'07.673

I am beating Madforces ghost in the esses until the turn before the bridge... I think I can get into 1'07.3-4 range, just got to nail the corners right.

Benannt - Mitsubishi Evo X '07 GSR - 1324KG - 317BHP - R3/R1 - 600PP = 1'07.867

Note to Mr. P - Please remove my F430 time. I thought more people would run S tires in this challenge. Not to mention the I've chopped over 1 sec off that time now that I know the track better.

Benannt, its great to see another United States driver in the top 25 👍

There are only 5 out of 100 drivers from The United States in the Time Trial. I believe there is only 7 NTSC players in the Time Trial. It is very sad. :(

NTSC guys?

Help us recover our pride.

Thank you. Considering I've never driven the Evo X before I'm fairly happy with the time thus far. There are a few tenths left out there if I can string mistake free corners all in the same lap. Hopefully I can keep the time in the top 25, that was my goal.

It would be nice seeing more Americans in the top 100 but from what I see when I rarely pop the NTSC disc in, they seem more concerned with playing crash up derby than going fast.

It is nice to see our flag up there though!

Speak for yourself, I'm not insecure about the lack of US players in TT, and seeing more there will not make me more "proud".

You make these comments a lot, and seem unaware that this is pretty much to be expected. Why can't you just enjoy being one of the fast US players without constantly whining about who you are racing against? Before it was the Daytona Road World Event, and now it's the TT.

This game isn't that popular in the US. Get over it. I know I sound harsh, but it's early, and I need a coffee.

I guess you said it for me then. Yes I do say a lot of poor things about my own country, thats because we have almost nothing to contribute. And all I am saying is: this is sad. Becuase this country used to have all of the best, but now it seems we are stuck on extrem entertainment and live for the monment type of games. It would be nice to be thought of in a different light. I guess I am looking for false hope to think we can be faster or more people care about being the fastest? Sorry for this message.

my final clio time.

a high´06.xx is possible, but then i need a lot of luck also.

The GT series has always been popular in the US (I don't have time to find the numbers I used to have right now) it isn't that. It is more what passes for auto racing (and racing anything in general) in most American's minds (4 corners or a 1/4 mile) that changes the perception of the game for many. I don't want to get into a long discussion on racing in the US, that thread has been done to death and this is not it, but go online in any NTSC event and you'll see the "level" of racing out there in the US GT world. Tons of players but maybe 10 people worth racing.

As a US racer in the PAL region I'm happy when I see other US drivers out there mixing it up with Europe and Japan's best. I'm not Mr. Patriotic, but it makes me somewhat proud. I like seeing us drivers up there in time-trials too. Just like the guys from DE, GB, JP, FI... etc are. The fact I race with a PAL disc says alot as to what I think of "US racers" but it doesn't mean it's not nice to see them up there.

The thing I find quite nice about this specific event is all the GTP (and GTRP, GTNDC, etc) racers in the top 100. That is nicer to see.

I'm back from my Holiday in Europe and will spend some time with this later today.

Seems like a good way to get back into the swing of things.

double time entry if possible.

Rudi Raser - Subaru WRX STi RA ´05 - 1181kg - 299HP - R2/R1 - 600pp = 1'07.369

You might wanna check my lap time again. Seems the current one defies the space time continuum. I know GT5p has bugs...but not that one! ha!
