Mr P,

You did miss my time: 1'07.673

Thanks man, and congrads to the others that are still in the top ten and NOT using a AWD car to do so.

Come on, if anything the sticky little Clio is the easier car to drive fast around this track. Easy is relative but in this case the Clio has a big advantage on center of gravity/body roll and downforce over the Evo or Scoob which need to be driven proper rally style, drifting through corners S. Leob style.

While anytime in any car under 1'08 is a good time, pushing the Evo or Scoob (and yes the Clio) to under 1'07.5 is amazing. The sub 1'07 times are just wonderful. Look at how many Clio times there are in the top 100, that alone should tip you off how easy the car is to go fast with.

I'm not taking anything away from the Clio and those puting down fast times with it but this is one of those AWD moan-a-thones that hold no water. Remember a few months ago how almost every race had a Tuned Clio or Tuned Elise in it. They are fast and easy to drive for most.

Took a break from Ferrari Challenge to run a few laps in this... thanks go to spyrrari for giving me a good ghost to chase (Rudi, yours was just too fast!)...

GTP_Stotty - Clio tuned - 1230kg - 278bhb - R3/R3 - 1'07.636

Not sure if weight and bhp are 100%... it's max weight and min bhp with rear df reduced to 6 to give 600pp.

Here's the set up I was using on the Clio if you fancy a test with it ...

278 / -18
1230 / 115
R3 / R3
aero 5 / 6
height -14 / -15
1 / 4
1 / 4
-0.27 / +0.16
3.0 / 2.4
brakes 5 / 5
turn angle 45
tcs - off
abs - 1

gears
3.230
1.935
1.388
1.067
0.876
0.718
-----
4.236

It's not perfect but then again it's not too bad if it can run mid 1'07's .. probably best to test it as a base setting and tweak from there, hope it helps 👍

Will update everything in here within the next 30 mins

Chronos-GT -Subaru WRX STi RA´05/????kg-???hp/R2/R1/600PP= 1'07.607

Just came back to this, wonder when it ends.

Nice to see the Gran Turismo Master Duratec back in action showing everyone how it's done.

The most minor of updates, but an update one-the-less. Moved me up one spot.

double time entry if possible.

Rudi Raser - Subaru WRX STi RA ´05 - 1181kg - 299HP - R2/R1 - 600pp = 1'07.369

tricky to drive this car. :scared:

EDIT

GTNDC-Rudi Raser - Subaru WRX STi RA ´05 - 1181kg - 299HP - R2/R1 - 600pp = 1'07.242

:D

 ..I need another ID too! :)

Well, in that case, I'm going to post all 6 of my 1'11s times in 6 different cars with 6 different ids so that no one need fear being at the bottom of the standings. :)

That's decent of you!

This TT is the most physical event I've yet come across on GT5P. I don't know how it is with the pad, but with the G25 you literally have to wrestle the Clio around the first first three corners. I'm always left behind by Rudi a Turn 2. :indiff:

Yes it is! I'm thought I was the only one. I've spent 3 days working on this and my arms and shoulders are sore right now. I was wondering why at first then realized last night that it was Eiger, those first three (bloody %!$$@^%$) corners. I feel like I've done 1,000 push-ups in the past few days!

Set the steering angle to 50 and you need less steering effort to make the hairpins ;)
