What happened to the LMP1 and 2 cars? Even the ones SMS made?

Nothing. We just haven't heard about them yet. Most cars from pCARS1 will be carried forward. That has already been confirmed, so we knwo that we will have at least some of them. I don't know why everyone is panicing so much about these cars...... I get that they are popular, but wht does everyone immediately assume doom and gloom just because we haven't heard anything specific?

Ever hear of the old expression "No news, is good news."? We haven't heard anything official about Ferrari/Porsche/Lamborghinin, but everyone seems to be OK with simply accepting that they will be there. Yet cars that we already have in the current game (meaning they are 90% certain to be back), everyone is freaking out and panicing over.

/end rant. I just saw this same question 3 or 4 times today alone......

Not always true, remember the PCars 1 Indy 500 content that was discussed in 2014? Beyond that announcement, there was no news at all until SMS said that ovals were not coming to PCars 1 in late 2015 or early 2016 due to AI issues. What about classic Monza, Spa, and Solitude Rennstrecke? All three were shown in earlier builds and supposedly were coming to PCars 1, no news came until a mention of license costs in late 2015 or early 2016.


Excuse me for asking a simple question, I haven't looked much into this game like I did its predecessor.

The difference here is that we are talking about content that already exists and that everyone already has in the current game. Not content that is "planned, and advertised".

Like I said, I have seen the same question regarding the LMP class several times today alone, so just wondering why everyone seems so paniced about it. We know that most of the existing content from the current game is moving forward. Just trying to understand why it's possible to accept that knowledge for other cars/classes, but not this one.
 
I posted a response from projectcarsgame twitter, one one of the previous pages. They have mentioned LMPs will be revealed, close to release date.

According to @jake2013guy, 89 cars have been announced with the retail copy, and there's 170+ in all; we're barely over half the car list revealed so far.

According to final count the retail copy will have 180 cars. So we have 91 more to go and hoping at least a third of that consists of Ferrari, porsche and lambo.

A third? Wouldn't that be a bit excessive? That would be 10 cars each. I can't think of 10 cars for both Porsche/Lambo.

It's a game primarily for race cars so I don't really see why having the majority of a brand's car count should be road cars.

For Lamborghini:
1. Super Trofeo
2/3. GT3/Huracan
4/5. GT1/Diablo

That's fair too and to add to that more then likely we will see more love going to porsche/ Ferrari just based upon their history, just waiting for that curtain to be pulled back now.

Are you absolutely sure that it was a 935 Moby Dick? I'm not convinced.

From the picture that I have seen, it looked a lot more like this car.

I messaged their facebook account and because Im on phone I cant send you a screenshot. But I asked them if we will get the FG Falcon or the FG X Falcon and they just simply said "FG X"
