Let's move on to some new car reveals and some other details.

"So, for instance, you’ll be able to run a 1998 Le Mans race, at a scanned Le Mans, complete with real-time weather, with cars such as the Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM, the Nissan R390 GT1 Long Tail that finished third, as well as the McLaren F1 GTR that finished fourth. And if you have the Motorsports Pack, you can even add the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 to that battle."

The return of GT4 and GT5 classes.
"We also have GT3, GT4, GT5, and a large host of other vehicle classes."

Details about PS4 Pro vs Scorpio.
Microsoft have finally revealed the specs and I have two sub questions regarding this. 1) from a development perspective do you think it has enough power to deliver 4k/60fps in AAA games? 2) What is the target fps/resolution for PC2 on Scorpio?

Andy Tudor: To your first question—in principle, yes. In principle because we really don’t know until we get things up and running and see what it can do. We are exploring the console now, so it’s too early to give specific answers on those.

Scorpio also supports FreeSync and next-gen HDMI 2.1. What are the advantages of this and how do you think this will impact anyone playing PC2 on Scorpio?

Andy Tudor: We may go higher resolution on Scorpio compared to Pro, or we may keep lower res but increase detail. Again, too early to say, and if we can do something extra on Scorpio easily we will do, we won’t hold it back due to Pro.

Scorpio features a high end GPU and a ton of memory. It’s kind of interesting in a way that Microsoft are finally ahead in the hardware race. Where does this leave the Pro version? Are you going to aim for parity on both Pro and Scorpio so that you can reach the maximum audience or are you going to push each hardware to their respective strengths?

Andy Tudor: We have scalability in our cross-platform engine already, and use that on PC. We can apply a number of detail levels reasonably easily to help differentiate between base and advanced versions.

GT1 is getting a lot of love with at least another 2 cars coming in my eyes. If the class is balanced it could be very popular this time around.

"One of the key goals with Project CARS 2 was to narrow down the “orphan” cars from the first game." This is really good news.

so this motherf@#$ker just basically said there will be 62 unique locations with variable layouts. I think i just hit a nut 50 times in a row (sowy for the language), why isn't this game on my console and stealing me away from my priorities. where was this game when i was playing with gt's legendary 20 locations which were somewhat good picks and their nostalgic 6 cars on track( which i never understood) or the upgraded ps3 12 - 16 cars on track. @IanBell i hope for the best for your team and i hope the release comes out as expected for you guys. I was shaky of the crowd funded game but for what it was, PC1 had fulfilled wishes i had in a racing game that no game could and im praying this franchise can influence more people to recognize racing as a major sport and not a hobby or passtime. Keep up the good work guys. PS> sorry for the long comment.

That's probably why I can't find Montoya but Chilton, Daly and Clauson will probably come to light sometime soon.
They're probably all hiding deep in the pack, I reckon they will all come to light. It would definitely be a nice tribute to have Clauson's car in game for the obvious reason, it has a place in history too as leader of the 100th laps of the 100th race.

Seeing as they have Pippa's car, I don't see why it wouldn't be in. I'd love to see JW's final Indy 500 livery as well. Partially because I love that Rolling Stones car. The remaining as a tribute.

Also mentions they plan to unveil some big road cars which I say it's about time lol. My bet is on Ferrari, lambo and porsche too especially with that gt3 rs teaser pic.

Gran Turismo's races never really represented motorsports events. The six car limit was partly due to hardware limitations, but the game was evidently inspired by the "Best Motoring" video series in Japan, which commonly held sprint race tests featuring professional race drivers in a handful of roadcars, as well as other challenges like head-to-head races on the Gunsai Touge course with modified cars built by tuning shops/companies. So this is basically Gran Turismo IRL:

There's even a guy with his wipers on for no reason!

The FIA GT3 video above... I was there. Good days.. well... nearly. I got a bad sunburn so coming home was literally, a pain :(

Would do it all over again :D

Portimao... what a wonderful track to lap around ;)
