Ian Bell told me months ago that this game would have been much better on AMD cards but this is clearly not the case . That's a lie .

Maybe months ago that's what he thought? Clearly you are unhappy, so you have a few choices, wait until a driver update to see if things improve, jump ship to the green team and be pretty certain that every game you play is well optimised for your card or forget PCars 2 exists and play something else. Probably not worth keep moaning about it here though as that's not going to help your situation.

No. Ian has many people testing the game on PC through WMD and a reasonable proportion of those have to be on AMD because numbers. And then, he might have no/very small issues that would be easily ironed out thus prompting that response.
Can't exactly discuss technical problems when the game isn't even out.

Again, until the GPU Drivers are updated for the game, no one knows how the game will perform. That link is conjecture based on the current drivers. It may be valid. It may not. But it is conjecture, nonetheless.
When the game drops and it performs poorly, please come back and create a thread saying so. That is your best course of action.

Well excuse me but if you buy a car and the engine breaks you won't say "it's just a car" . If i bought the game without looking benchmarks i would have wasted 50 euros , this game doesn't even run at 60 fps at the moment on my 480 . I bought Dead Rising 4 months ago and it is almost unplayable (huge frame drops) , i won't make that mistake again . That said , i will wait more comparisons .

Steam offers a Refund on games. If you play it less than two hours and own it less than two weeks, they'll give you a refund. All you have to do is submit for it. You'll be able to benchmark the game yourself.
I bought a game last week which was unplayable for me. Got a refund within minutes. It's a fantastic feature.

Instead of just looking at some pictures you should check out the respective performance review too.
They're saying that AMD cards are not losing much performance with higher resolutions which implies a larger CPU overhead (common issue with AMD drivers).
They're also saying that AMD cards are performing significantly better against Nvidia cards compared to PCARS 1. So no, Ian was not lying to you.

I am talking about PC2 problems , how is that "bitching and moaning" . If you can't deal with facts that's your problem . And yes , i am pissed off because i was interested in the game or i can't express my disappointment ?
EDIT : how much cars are on screen with 55-60 fps average ? This is also an important detail .

Until you load that game up and see for yourself you are dealing with conjecture not facts. There are quite a few of us here who are making reasonable suggestions to you to try and help your situation. You don't really seem to be listening and are just sounding off. Can't you see how that could be annoying?

I'm "worried" that the LMP Group C cars will all be jumbled together in Career Mode. It scares me to think that some of the AI may or may not be racing Le Mans aero kits on tracks which would typically require high downforce.
Same with the IndyCars running the Oval and Circuit aero packages.
But I don't even know if that will be an issue on Friday. But it scares me to death, man.

@IanBell there's a couple things i asked even back on sms forums in pcars1 times but never had answer that keep bothering me... if you could just say a word even a "can't disclosure it or talk about it" would suit me...
1 is why we do not get the early 90s Imola layout? Is it because of the '94 tragedy? The old layout with tamburello and old acque minerali was amazing
2 has other historic f1 teams been considered for inclusion? Minardi may be an interesting one with the m191 and m192 lambo and ferrari powered, but arrows, Jordan, alfa's etc etc may be exciting ones to try on track. I feel we miss some nineties f1s.
May we get some on dlc? Hint hint

And some games are sponsored by AMD. However, many more are sponsored by Nvidia. As a consumer you really should take such things into account when you make your hardware choices.

I'm sure many other defunct f1 teams can be reached, I mean like dallara scuderia italia or such may even be happy to get some free advertising...
Also imola is already in, I'm sure licensing for the same track in different times it's not that terrible, whose we wouldn't have had ninties hockemheim and spa right? Or monza too!

They probably can find them but what's the point having a team that's 3/4 seconds off the pace?
As for the classic circuit, I agree. It's not impossible. However, Imola might want x amount more for the classic version which they'd deem to be unreasonable. The exact reason why we don't have modern Suzuka.

Question to WMD members. Is HDR supported on PC? Seems like only Xbox has HDR at the moment. I've see the HDR menu in PC builds but it was greyed out. I'm going to be streaming from PC to Sheild TV to 4K HDR TV, so really hope it's supported at launch or in D1P.
