After watching many videos i noticed that the AI driver in the first place is always miles ahead, is this scripted for every race?

No, it is not scripted, but it happens quite often (definitely not always) due to two factors primarily:

1) I believe the AI difficulty you set isn't for the whole field of cars, but only for 1 or 2 cars on the grid (obviously the ones who will be in front), for the rest the difficulty has a gradual decay towards the end of the grid.

2) The AI in general has a bit of a hard time navigating around other cars in huge crowds, slowing down more than what usually would be warranted. To a degree this causes pileups at the starts still, which of course happens in real life as well, but the AI doesn't seem as willing to find lines around the other cars in situations like this. Rolling starts help somewhat, but the end result is that the first few cars will usually enjoy a comfortable lead after the initial laps of a race. Again, this is somewhat realistic, getting stuck in the midfield is a thing, but it's a bit more pronounced for the AI drivers due to their current behaviors.

That would explain it, thanks :)

SMS get it. Knockhill and Oulton in PC2, have that ToCA 1 excitement. I'm happy with the WIP.

The fog looks amazing this time around, so real looking. And that neat effect when it windy and raining and you see visually see "sheets" of rain in patterns. Those are nice touches that create immersion and make you feel scared and you will take it easy.

Is it just me or does there seem to be a ton of impression vids in every language but english?

Im surprised by this point we haven't seen more from popular sites like VVV or SRTV.

Isn't all the stuff we're seeing now from WMD guys, even those impressions vids? VVV etc aren't part of that so must be waiting for preview builds from the devs, but I guess they're not getting any yet.

That's true. But the question still stands we're are the English speaking WMD guys then?
They are there and they've released some videos. But WMD is full of members from around the world and many do not have English as a first language.

I understand how the world works. I hope dont sound put off by non english speaking people. I just haven't come across any. I'll look harder.

Only 12 cars in Formula rookie ? it's little. If i remember, Pcars1 had 16 cars in FR.

edit : I've seen a lot of videos and it seems that the number of cars on the track is reduced. Maybe just an impression..
Cant speak for the non VR videos, but VR tremendously strains the most powerful of PC's, so to get the fps to be stable in VR, at times I may need to run a shorter grid. You can run huge grids however....I would try it in non VR but once you have gone VR.........you know the rest :)

Bringing my 1060 to its knees - Interestingly, in the VR headset it not only looks alot better than what comes out on the recording, its a hell of alot smoother. Naturally, its even smoother without recording.....

And with that statement.... I'm only concern remaining with this game is how it will run on a standard xboxone.

I wouldn't compare trying to run VR on a GTX1060 to running at 1080p on an XBone.

Absolutely. Nothing to worry about re: XB1/PS4, will run like a dream - probably better than PC1 due to the extended time with the hardware.

I know it's not as heavy as VR but they've added a lot more tech into the game. I can't see it running better than PCARS1. But hey, I hope your right.

It lacks the whistle sound after 4:00 in this video :
