AlmostIs that 1842?
Elsie Wisdom and Joan Richmond's Riley 9 after winning the 1932 Junior Car Club 1,000 mile race at Brooklands at an averge speed of 84.41 mph over the two days of the race. Elsie Wisdom was well known. Joan Richmond was an Australian who had come over earlier that year to compete in the Monte Carlo Rally staying on to win the classic long distance race despite two spins.
