Welcome to GTplanet! It's a good place to beHi! This is my first post on GT Planet. I have been reading the posts for the past week. I mostly hang out on the PCars 2 forum in the Garage section. I have already purchased the Deluxe edition. I am hoping that with the new controller support and possibly improved setups that more beginner and casual racers will enjoy PCars 3.
PS4 Pro for me.What platform is everyone thinking of playing on?
I'm likely Xbox One X.
some bad things and have that guilty expression. Myself I make mistakes as well so my avatar is an apology in advance.

I've seen a few YouTubers saying they enjoyed the pad controls. I'm really hoping they work well too. I have been a long time pad user who (finally!) got a wheel. So I know what it's like. Glad you picked this little thread for your first post
I was more interested in the physics of the spin.Yeah he does that. Trying to show visual damage, I think most people already get that but ok.

No problem! You just stated your opinion and is true that lately he's been showing that.Sorry, see my avatar.
Same here, just hoping it performs better than PC2 did as that was pretty woeful to be honest at timesPS4 Pro for me.
The jump at 0:46 also looks solid, at least for a game that isn't intended to portray realistic damage from such a stunt (which is practically everything short of BeamNG.Drive, including the most respected "serious" sims).I was more interested in the physics of the spin.
I sincerely hope SMS's confidence in the new steering (having removed adjustment options) doesn't screw over players who were satisfied with PCARS1/PCARS2 in pursuit of making players like me happier and allowing other players to get a grip on it for the first time.I know the devs can’t make everyone happy with the direction they made with PC3 but I have zero issues using a gamepad when playing PC1 or PC2.

I don't know what PCARS2 is like on a high-end PC because dudes with high-end PC sim setups seem to not generally approve of the idea of having fun, but on PS4 the physics engine has a tendency to act funny when cars get airborne, sometimes as if the passage of time is altered for a moment. My humble laptop made the same effect very prominent when I sampled Project CARS: Pagani Edition, so it appears to be an artifact of the CPU being unable to keep up properly.
Edge cases can produce very strange phenomena in PCARS2. I'm hoping that has all been ironed out now.
Well I'm coming back here since negativity has completely taken over on the main thread mostly because of Jimmy Broadbent. I'll be interested to find out what more mainstream sites think then use that as a median to base my judgment on.
That said, I think I'm going to finally preorder this on Monday. I think it has everything I want in a game. I never played Shift, but to me this feels like maybe an older Forza or GT game updated to modern standards.
Has anyone seen the look of setting up a custom lobby?
If you ask me, it's giving me all kinds of FM6 vibes in a good way!but to me this feels like maybe an older Forza
Actrollvision dabbled in it for a few seconds. This should help the hype.
