I dont mean to shoot anybodys hype down but... The very early version of the Bentley was in the public builds as an AI car some weeks ago, without basic features like damage, AO etc. This footage probably was created around that time. Doesnt mean that sexy Bentley will be part of the release or come to us as DLC shortly thereafter. :scared:
It fits the ?

I hope they'll add some of these GT3 cars and their road versions:
- Bentley Continental GT3
- Ferrari 458 GT3
- Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 GT3
- Ford GT GT3
- Nissan Gt-r Nismo GT3
- Chevrolet Camaro GT3
- Corvette Z06.R GT3
...

Bentley Continental GT3 - Will be in.

Ferrari 458 GT3 - Ferrari is rumored...but it's ****ing expensive, don't expect it. Besides they wreck everybody.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 GT3 - Lambo isn't really necessary.

Ford GT GT3 - Have Ford license...is possible.

Nissan Gt-r Nismo GT3 - Nissan rumored.

Chevrolet Camaro GT3- Chevy is rumored.

Corvette Z06.R GT3 - Chevy is rumored...would also require Callaway license.

Ferrari and Chevrolet aren't even rumoured.

Check many pages back, Chevy is rumored. Ferrari was poked at by somebody...honestly I could care less though about Ferrari because they just wreck in every GT race...Lambo is meh too. Besides it's basically the same car as the R8... :P

If you're referring to that corvette with loads of pcars stickers on it, that's not a hint chevrolet will be in the game.

@Bealdor I didn't post that?

Actually no, you guys are right. On my monitor the ? and the Lykan have almost the same color, but I just saw the coming soon. So I guess I have talked rubbish, sorry.

On my monitor the Free Car and the Coming Soon(?s) are completely different colors. The Free car being Cyan, the coming soon being a grayish-teal.

i think Lambo, Ferrari and Maserati is must for every racing game. At least one of them.

And was the size a million and bold/italic writing really necessary? :sly: :P

Hey quick question, what's the guestimated ETA on the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE car? Assumptions are welcome.
I don't think it's coming soon based on the latest developments, but SMS surprised us before (I mean us WMD), so you never know.

How many other racing sims have more cars and more variety than PCARS?

It depends what you mean by racing sims. If the career mode is ok and people get to drive a decent car then may be people will not care too much. But look at the list it is pretty meh :indiff:

Racing sims are games that are mostly about racing, online or off, that make a concerted effort to duplicate car physics, sounds etc., and a real racing environment. No game economys, no cars to unlock, total sandbox. We're talking about Assetto Corsa, iRacing, Game Stock Car, rFactor etc.

rfactor has great mods and variety. I do not think Pcars is targeting that community. In that case it will neither win console gamers nor PC. They are probably something in between. More like grid autosport.

To be honest, Project CARS have quite a good variety of cars compared to iRacing... They've got 44 cars on their roster, while Project CARS is going to start out with over 60, and eventually raise up to over 80, and maybe into the three-figures later on...

Mods have nothing to do with a game being a sim. iRacing has no mods and no one denies it's a sim. Not really sure what your point is really.

Then you're misinformed. Project CARS is called a sim because its physics model is way more advanced than Grid:AS, GT or Forza.

From what I gather, Project CARS is targeting everyone, bringing proper physics to the console community and best gameplay to the PC sim community.

That's how I see it, and I hope that both the average Joe and the average reviewer are going to understand that.

Or did I get it wrong as well?

Crud I forgot about that..did Matech build the Robertson ALMS Ford GT GT2?

The Robertson Racing ALMS entry was built by Doran. What a great car....... I have pictures of me sitting in it a few weeks after it took 3rd in class at Le Mans in 2011. The Ford GT40/GT has always been my favorite car.

The main problem with this car is the FIA Homologation rules. Once a car is out of production for 7 years it is no longer eligible for homologation. As a result, even if they released it, what would you race it against? It wouldn't fit with either the current GT3 cars or the classic racers. I'm much more hopeful that we will see a version of the 2016 Ford GT GT3 (hint, hint WMD members....) :D

Well it was a GT2 car...and the BMW M3 E92 GT2 is in this game...and I believe they were both around roughly the same time. Besides...imagination perhaps. :P
