The Renault touring cars drive and feel extremely good, a highlight for me.

I also enjoyed the BMW touring car, and that pack was worth it.

Obviously the Bentley GT3 is awesome, but for me that wasn't a great pack otherwise.

I actually found the RS.01 to be a bit twitchy for my taste. The Megane Trophy is really nice though, about 425 HP in a really light package.

One that hasn't been mentioned is Audi Ruapuna Track Expansion. It's worth buying, great little track and also includes the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro LMP1 and an Audi IMSA GTO car, amongst a few others.

Audi IMSA GTO class car but yeah its fantastic. :D

Actually what is says is this.

On Demand Pack. contains all the amazing content added via the On Demand program since the launch of Project CARS - 50+ cars, 4 new locations and 60+ community-created liveries.

Whereas that Game of the Year edition says.

50+ cars (125 total)
4 tracks (35 unique locations 100+ layouts total)
60+ community-created liveries
500+ features and improvements
All this plus two special and exclusive items - the iconic Nurburgring Combined Nordschieffe+GP circuit and two exclusive vehicles from Pagani-the Zonda Revolucion and Huayra BC.

Exactly, pretty simple to work out if you ask me.
And also, "game of the year edition" sounds like a game, yet "on demand Pack" doesn't.

Except that what I highlighted directly contradicts what you highlighted.
Pagani Nurburgring Expansion is included in the On Demand Pack along with every other DLC.

If you don't have the game get GOTY.
If you have the game and want all DLC get the On Demand Pack.

Thanks for the info, I wasnt certain if Game of the year included the game. With not knowing if the OnDemand stuff was just certain DLC, I wasnt sure. Albeit tounge in cheek, thanks for the help!

I got them all, they are so cheap so why not? There is something to like in all of the DLC.
My Steam Wallet is not impressed by your post.

I decided to have a look at the Steam pCARS DLC page and saw that the "Project CARS game of the year bundle" automatically calculates all DLC you don't yet have and gives you 40% off the combined cost of the DLC you are missing. Which obviously forced me to pick up the remaining DLC which I'd not bothered purchasing yet... :)

The combined 24h Nurburgring GP+Nordschleife is not bad, but the lack of laser scan really hurts after I'd put all those hours into running around the AC and Raceroom laser scanned versions. Particularly the camber is what hurts: Lines which I take on the other two games just don't quite work in pCARS. But a number of key kerbs are also noticeably different shape. These two combined take me out of my rhythm.

Playing through the various DLC cars recently I've concluded that DLC vehicles tend to have some of the better FFB feel in the game. Not sure if placebo or just because those models were finalized much later and are tuned for their stock FFB to work better with the final FFB engine?

Even though the Nurburgring combined course isn't laser scanned I actually rather enjoy it, I was expecting it to be as flat as sheet glass but the bumps are exaggerated and makes it quite the challenge, tuning for it is difficult, I quite like it,

Guys sorry if this has been asked before, I have all the Project Cars Add On's to my PS4, I would like to ask before I download the $29.99 download, is this new stuff or just everything I have before just bundled, sorry again just confused about this DLC. thanks

Lee

No DLC costs $29, so I'm going to assume that its the all content pack, which if you already have all the DLC, it isn't required,

If you have all previous DLC's these are the only extra GOTY additions and they can be bought as the Pagani Nurburgring track expansion pack for $3.99

The Game Of The Year Edition will feature two distinctive and exclusive items:

  • The iconic Nurburgring Combined Nordschieife + GP circuit
  • Two Project CARS exclusive vehicles from Pagani – the Zonda Revolucion and Huayra BC unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show

On Demand Pack = all DLCs in 1 pack.
If you already have all DLCs there's no need to download On Demand Pack.

I had the disk based version, then I bought the Complete Edition (GOTY) on the PS Store. Now I have two copies. I'm going to sell the other (physical) to a friend. Oh well, read the description

How much does the DLC cost in the UK, and what does one get for it?
Thanks
I believe the Car packs cost around £1.39 and usually contain around 5 cars while the track packs are more expensive (forget the exact price) and usually have 5 cars and a track (or several for the Lotus DLC).

I suppose this is the right place to ask - will all Project Cars DLC vehicles/tracks be present in PCARS 2? Or has that not been confirmed?

Not all, they have to buy licenses for each game so i suppose the popular DLC cars will be brought over and the others put in the bin.
