I didn't take anything personal, it was you carrying on about how other people play games, as opposed to how you think games should be played, that I found rude and unnecessary, but since you can't seem to even grasp what I've said so far, I won't bother trying to explain it any further.

If you think driving a car fast is easy you haven't driven a car fast lol. Driving a car quickly can easily be as physically demanding as riding, depending on the car, it can even be more demanding. Cars also go much quicker around corners than bikes, and can be just as deadly in an accident, due to being wrapped in a ton or more of steel. Riding a bike is only more rewarding if you prefer to ride a bike. I enjoy both cars and bikes, but I have more fun driving my car hard on a good road than driving anything on a track. That's just me though.

the incredible thing are the anwers provided by Ian Bell on the official site.. i do not get how this kind of attitude could be allowed in a company. What an absolute bad mannered. Unbeliaveble.

Ian Bell on the forum said DLC are not and won't be integrated into the career, so for ex is impossibile to get a contract from bentley GT3. The only integrated dlc are those from the release date: limited edition and preorder bonus.

We won't be adding career functionality retrospectively no.
Little side note; he also said this in his post before that:

Basically. If it fits, we do add DLC cars and tracks to career, with new career based features. If it doesn't fit (smoothly) we don't.

If it does integrate into new career modes, we'll say so on the 'tin'.

So is there a specific day that DLC normally comes out? E.g. Driveclub gets theirs the last Tuesday of every month. I think Forza has a specific schedule too. But are these DLC packs which are in the works actually coming out/good chance they will be e.g. the Lancer IX Evo FQ360, Aston Martin DLC, Renault Megane & Laguna, the Audi pack etc?

I think it is based on when the DLC is ready to be released instead of a set schedule like in other games. This is the best way to release the DLC as it allows SMS to make the content as close to perfect as possible, and not filled with lots of bugs and problems that they didn't get fixed by say the final Thursday of the month. This may also be one of the reasons why the season pass proposal was dropped.

This is not a problem I've seen with any dlc ever tbh.

If anything the advantage is that ready dlc is not held back simply because of a set released schedule.

And I do not mean to be rude, it is how I personally feel. after all, I talk from my own experience and want to make clear how I feel, and dont take things so seriously. it is afterall a text based forum and a person interpreters a text based on how he is feeling right now. So if you interpreter things badly because someone is not agreeing with you well all that is on you :P

It's also about how the poster presents his argument. If you had said something along the lines of "Personally, I don't have much need for offline career mode and tend to think that the future of gaming is moving towards more online play. But hey, we can all enjoy the game how we want which is the beauty of it" then you probably wouldn't have received much flak. But instead you basically said "Everyone who plays the game differently than me are wrong and are idiots. The future of gaming is only going in the direction that I choose to play and the rest of you are losers", to which you justifiably received flak. That's about like telling me I shouldn't be allowed to eat my pizza because it doesn't have your favorite toppings on it. You're not eating the pizza, why the hell do you care what's on it?

Haha, maybe.. buy I really don't mind receive any "flak".

I am just not that kind of fellow that take things to seriously.. Although I thought that people did know that everyone on forums and even irl know that when people share something they do talk from their own perspective.. :D Maybe I am just to old for this :P
