Trail braking is basically carrying the brake to the apex of the corner (often used for hairpins or long sweeping corners with a late clipping point) as opposed to braking in a straight line and releasing the brake prior to turn in.

Rally drivers also use cover the brake with their left foot quite often to stabilise the car mid corner

I'm really curious, will Daytona as well as its road course come out in the "Ford Oval Racing" DLC? Daytona was originally in the game, but eventually got cut out from the final release.

I think the Nascar ovals will come out with the Ford Fusion and the Indy car ovals will come out with the indy cars. It won't make sense is they add the NASCAR but no tracks to race it on.

I downloaded patch 5.0 last night, I noticed the Scion FR-S Rocket Bunny in the "On Demand" in-game icon, so I'm guessing that's this month's free car.

unfortunately not, the free car is Scion Fr-s (not rocket bunny)

I suspect we could be getting the 2014 car for the career mode, painted in fictional team liveries. Meanwhile the 2015 one is for the solo mode and other stuff. Maybe.

I thought the very same thing. The F3.5 would be a good replacement but I would pick the Laguna every time. Apparently the Laguna was started very late so it may still be in alpha build.

Or at the same time. For realism of the career mode (by that I mean how it's in it's own universe essentially) it'd make more sense for fictional liveries. But we still get the the 2015 cars and teams so we can replicate the Indy 500 or any of the Indycar races from this year.

Funny how it seemed different a while back.

Oh and hi everyone I've been silently reading for a bit but OMG THOSE CARS ! Been a while since I've been this excited for a car pack ! (Personally I feel the last decent pack was the Audi expansion)

Anyway, where did you get those ? Online or did you take those pictures by yourself ?

The first line of photos is the "American Racing Pack": 2014 Indycar, 2013 Nascar, bunch of tracks, bonus is the Australian V8 Supercar. (2015 Indycars come at Christmas maybe?)

The second line of photos is the Lotus Classic Track Pack: Classic F1, Classic GT1, classic tracks, bonus is the old F3 car.

The third line of photos is the Renault Pack: Them Renault's doe.

The Daytona road course is included - it was in the beta build of the track.
