hopefully the game will deliver which i think it will just a coulpe q's, for the multiclass system will you the player be able to choose what AI car is in your custom race. for the dialouge box for the race engineer, it should be like a dialouge box(for ex) the 24 hours of le mans race control message. will there be times where the track is wet on certain parts and not the whole thing at the same time which the race control box would be good for. lastly can you set timed events in online and single player

Strange how we get attached to inanimate objects isn't it! I love my old G25 as well,it's got me through 6 years of sim racing in GT5 Prologue, GT5, & GT6 (so many happy memories of online racing & hundreds of replays saved). I'd hate to let it go as it's "my baby", so I might just keep it as a back up.

:)

Yup. The attachment is only strengthened when the item is as rock solid as the G series has been. Ill be hanging on to my G27 just in case it works one day on PS4.

With that said... Im looking forward to when my T300 arrives.

The reason not many people have complained about ghosting is because only a few people have had their hands on a pre-release PS4 copy. Come May 7th/8th/12th there will be hordes of people noticing it and giving it an unfair 1 star rating on Amazon.
It would be a shame to see the game we've all been waiting for get marked down by reviewers due to a bug the QA testers either missed or thought to be insignificant.

Even the physical copy of the game has a "ghost" on the box. ;)

Your lack of knowledge of what this issue comes from shines yet again, if you put it down as simple bug, poor QA not noticing it. Its not that.

It's to do with the a AA method which seem to work well in the PS4, not without compromise though (as very usual on consoles). So which one would you pick, less smooth edges and some shimmering on some objects. Or some ghosting. (how 'bad' it is, decide when you play yourself). I'd take the second one quite surely.

The G25 was an awesome wheel. Excellent build quality and FFB. Same can't be said for the G27, sadly. Still a decent wheel, but it's no improvement over the G25, especially build quality and FFB deadzone.

Are those the only 2 options? I have another... fix the problem. I know, I'm crazy right expecting it to be fixed.

It's not up to me to know every last detail about "what this issue comes from". It's up to me to spend my hard earned money on a product that I was assured would be the same on both consoles, that patently isn't.

Are there any members here that plan on opening a Nurburgring time trials thread? It was always fun in GT to see where you stack up against other Gtplanet members, became very addicting as well. For those that weren't familiar with it, each board was separated by stock or modified (not really an issue in Pcars) and rules were set for aids and tires used. It seemed like a hell of a lot of work to manage but if anyone is willing to tackle it you'd be my Oprah.

Just out of interest, what are we predicting the critics will give it in their reviews?
I'm thinking an 8.5-9, maybe 86 on Metacritic (from what I see on YouTube).
I'm geussing 9-9.5

I will do one but don't know what track yet. Probably Hockenheim, Spa or Laguna Seca. Or maybe Watkins Glen. Or perhaps Sakitto. Or maybe LeMans. Or maybe *2 hours later* Brands Hatch. There's just so many tracks I am not sure what to pick.

Or 3rd option you could not buy the game and go back to whatever forum you've came from. All 88 of your posts since you've been here have been negative. And for the record I have no affiliation with pcars.

I know. It's like trying to pick your favorite cookie in a stack of your favorite cookies!
I know right? I think I've narrowed it down to these tracks.

Brands Hatch
Donington Park
Hockenheimring
Imola
Monza
Brno
Nurburgring GP
Oschersleben
Silverstone
Spa
Zolder
Willow Springs
Sonoma Raceway
Laguna Seca
Watkins Glen
Road America
Dubai
Zhuhai
Sakitto
Bathurst

Hmm, that needs narrowing down even more.

Oh just quit your whining.

:)
I know that feeling very well, I replaced my Logitech G27 with the Thrustmaster T300 RS Wheel for PCARS on PS4 compatibility and decided to just hold on to it as backup, at least that is the story I’m sticking to. lol.

You missed out Oulton Park, I'm disgusted...

I remember around Halloween there was a haunted Nurburgring trailer... should stay away from that one, I'm sure ghosts are all over that!

It's not only ghosts, Sometimes there are even Wood-Monsters coming out of the fog :D

I think it will be in the range between 7-8 for the lack of content from the major websites

Such an impressive list. And you're not even including Monaco. :D

Exactly.
The fact this was noticed before launch just proves it's a big deal. When people get there hands on it I'm sure more will be on

Eh Alan from Team Vvv specifically mentioned it 5 pages ago and said it was the biggest issue he had even more so than frame rate?

He then linked to his post of that for everyone to see (he posted it at NG)

http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=160620091&postcount=646

More people are beginning to see it now it's been mentioned, just because it wasn't initially noticeable doesn't mean it shouldn't be investigated or fixed?
He didn't really make a big deal of the blur effect, I guess because it's a very subjective thing.
What he has mentioned in his videos of the PS4 version, and repeatedly so, is how gorgeous PCars looks on PS4, going so far as to say in one of them that it is the best looking racing game on consoles.
