The video was a bit dark, but i knew from the first corner what track you were on. A question if you would, how are the head lights? Are they better than GT5 for seeing the road?

The lights are adjusted so you would see just as much as you would in real life, ie a little bit more than GT5.

I doubt the game would appeal to European and Asian buyers with that cover though.

Different boxarts for different regions aren't rare.

Indeed the image choice is strange but I just thought it was odd Steven has a seemingly finished box art on his website. What is the logo just to the right of the main CARS logo? A publisher?

Slightly Mad Studios. I'm guessing they'll be their own publisher (if they have the compacity to do that themselves.)


Also, I really hope there is a design contest for the cover. I would be on that in a heartbeat.

True. Another point would be that it doesn't really represent the fast range of car classes in the game.

Last I looked I didn't think they had decided on what the game would be called, makes doing a game cover simply fan art at this stage.

C.A.R.S. is the project name.

It's not fan art though, it's on the website of the lead audio developer for the game. That's why I found it odd, wouldn't have posted it otherwise.

I'm not sure what chromatic uses anymore, but I use an SMAA injector and use print screen for snapshots.

If you want I could upload my injector settings again.

I have found a way to downsample with AMD/ATI cards!
