I'm glad they have kept Road America in there- That is one fast road once you learn you can take some corners at nearly 60 mph and a good one for some fierce battles :gtpflag:as plenty of opportunities for overtaking and full speed.
Road America is my favourite track, I'm very happy that it's included.

On the subject of "Roads", Road Atlanta would be nice at some point too...... just sayin'....
Road Atlanta is amazing, first time I drove that track was in the original Forza. Or was it in the 24 Hours Du Mans game on the PS2?

The first time for me was the old "Sports Car GT" from Electronic Arts, which actually only distributed the game. The game was actually created by ImageSpace (rFactor guys).

Now it seems you can only get it in iRacing or in community mods for GTR2. I would love to see it back in a major title under a formal license. Especially since the track has gained so much fame now with the Petite leMans

Road Atlanta has been in the Forza series for a long while now. I was glad to be reintroduced to it, since I had driven it ages ago in one of the many F1 2k2 mods...

...which brings me full-circle back to SMS and PCARS, I guess :D. I'm mostly just really excited to do some laps at Cadwell. It's always been a favourite of mine ever since Car or Evo went there years ago for a COTY track portion, and is criminally under-represented in games. Excited to return to Infineon Sonoma on a current game, too!

May have been in the 24h game, that did have Suzuka and another big name circuit in it aside from Le Mans,

I remember that Sports Car GT game, never got to grips with it properly, but it was fun driving the little Panoz and M3 about in it, I remember the first circuit being an oval based road course, not sure what circuit it was based on though,

Forza fans may be familiar with the track. A GT fan like me not so much, so after having driven it as a mod in AC I can safely say this is a fantastic track for online racing for a few reasons. It's very fast, with long straights that provide for lots of draft passing. The front straight is over 4000 feet/1.25kms long:eek::eek: and offers an uphill section around the S/F line. Unlike many modern tracks, the first corner is very fast and wide, allowing for easier 2 wide safe passage in the first lap. It also has a huge downhill sweeper also not a common feature on modern tracks.

It is a nearly perfect track for online racing IMO.

It would be awesome if they included Thruxton in Pcars (fastest track in the UK) along with the other UK tracks already present. Love this circuit and adds a different dimension to racing.

I used to love that track on the first couple of ToCA games. With the handling model they had you were always a breath away from having the back step out through those sweeping turns.

Many fond memories of doing co-op split screen seasons there and trying to ace the technical first and last corners to jump ahead in the pits.

While I think it's a fairly uninteresting circuit in terms of the track itself, Road America does indeed lend itself to great racing very well.

Look up some of onboard footage from Skip Barber races there, awesome stuff!

@Johnnypenso Great video-Didn't realise the track was so bumpy looking at that camera..Yep I have thrashed Road America on Forza 4 many times but the one which stood out for me was in SMS Shift2Unleashed I raced the Road America track 100's and 100's of times (on and offline) in GT1/GT3 Nismo GTR/BMW alpina/CorvetteZ06, you can take the corner after the Speedville red bridge nearly in a full drift if the grip on the car is good enough, very immersive in the helmet cam mode and as said was great for testing new released cars top end on the big straight and uphill section, grip and over taking abilities at speed and I had some excellent battles and races..Looking forward to some races with some of the guys on here. Will keep an eye out on what competitions are going on. The threads are very fast paced on here at the moment and easy to miss something. 👍

Your North American, how can you not know this! I've known Road America has been a great circuit since the 1998 ChampCar season.

Yes I recall, the cars were always so skittish around the back part of the circuit and not so different from real life. It Is an amazing circuit and so different in characteristics to most circuit layouts. Its the only circuit on the BTCC calendar where they don't allow the teams to use the softer tyres due to left front blowouts (this being the major contributor to ending up in a ditch)

Circuit Zandvoort is only in iRacing as far as I know, really like that one

It features in Xbox 360's Race Pro! Was my favourite circuit in the game along with Brands GP!!!

We will be running RA in my league if you want to check it out. Still a couple spots open.

Considering the complex physics, how do you think it would be like to drive the Nardo Ring? Would make for an awesome DLC as NO other game has it outside of rFactor/GTR2 mods.

As a GT old timer, there are so many tracks for me to discover, it's really refreshing. I won't get bored for a very very long time, if ever...

No Suzuka :( that's one of my Faves
Sakitto is pretty much Suzuka, minus the odd chicane or hairpin, and by all accounts it seems like a lot of folk like the changes. the lack of some of the S-bends at the start is a small gripe for me, but the rest of it looks decent.

Any news on whether or not Catalunya will be included in the retail version of PCars? I hear it's in the Gold build but has not been officially announced yet because of licensing. Just wondering if anyone can give us the inside scoop on what's happening with it.

I was watching a PS4 live feed on twitch last night and Catalunya (fully licenced) was on the track list.
