i'm gettingt it on ps4. as i can't afford a good pc. but if fanatec don't come out with a wheel i'm not getting it. as i just got my clubsport pedals v2 and my clubsport sq shifter us waiting on a wheel.

PS4, because that's what I have. I'm not going to bother with preordering or the limited edition.

Cool, perhaps next year you could help me figure out if there are differences in the physics/tire model between the Wii U version and other versions. :)
No problem at all, sounds like something I would enjoy.

I am undecided as I have an Xbox One and a PS4. Not sure yet.

Think I will get it on the Xbox One for all my Forza mates.

I'll be getting the Xbox One version. If I had a gaming rig I would have otherwise picked the PC version. *sigh* Oh well. XD

PC. In a future i'll buy PS4 with GT7 bundle, i hope, until then I'll experience all the power of my PC setup which isn't so bad (i5 processor, sapphire radeon 7850 HD 2GB, 16GB RAM,etc)

I will only buy PCars if it will support my G25. If not, then I'll pass

What platform? On PC, you can definitely use it.
At this point it's not likely the G25 will be supported on any platform outside of PC so if you want to play the game on one of the consoles, you'll have to look at upgrading your wheel.

With the matter of no support for Logitech and Fanatec it's looking more and more like PC for me. Thing is Slightly Mad has nothing to do with not allowing the wheels. It's Sony who is not moving to add required drivers to the PS 4 architecture. This actually stinks of a deal between Sony and Thrustmaster.

If I can afford it, I'll pre order limited addition for PC and PS4. It would be interesting to do direct comparisons of both games since I can run my PC output through my AVR via HDMI. 💡

I could draw my own conclusions about each environment. That sounds like the ticket. Just have to save the cash$$
What the hell, you only live once.

ill probably get the pc version because of a few reasons ...
for the first time ever i am going to skip on playstation, i owned 1 to 3
but for several reasons including some of their decision-making,
i went and got myself a 400 dollar graphics card for my pc instead.

the hardest part of that for me: i owned every Gran Turismo ever made, so i might get a little weak if GT7 is going to be really good, and by really good .. i mean like really, really good, i expect everything a pc can do ... including being able to do custom liveries.
all my other favorite series/games, i can get on my pc aswell,
so i am looking forward to gaming on it already.
hooked it up to my 55 inch tv in the living room already, project cars is ready to come, lol.

Will there be any difference between PC and Consoles? like less players online in a single session? Iv read there will be up to 64 cars on track is that on console as well as PC?

There have been screenshots of xb1 gameplay with over 16 car grids, so I think high grid numbers will be on console as well

Oh, and I'm getting the ps4 version.

I'll go for PC mainly because I don't want to spend again in a racing wheel and console. Also because my internet speed is rubbish and it's a real pain in the @#$ to update any game on console. (Like GT6 if the connection is lost I have to download the crap all over again... no resume feature ingame)

Edit: oh yeah, the liveries, I have a really nice time with the Forza series here and I'm looking forward doing this in the PC

I think I'm going to buy it on PC and keep my PS4 pre-order. I want to mess around with the paint schemes. I'll just see if my HD7850 video card can keep up

^ Haha! Like that :D

Any particular reason guys?

there are 2 main reasons for changing my pre_order,

1. After owning a ps1-2-3 pre-ordering Pcars for Ps4 seem like a natural progression so I ordered Pcars for Ps4. BUT after reading about all the thing the Ps4 doesn't do and wont let you do it made me reconsider my choice. for eg the whole wheel support thing stinks IMO and even though I own a T500rs I feel a lot of gamers are going to be lost from the playstation brand simply because they shouldn't have to fork out for a new wheel when they have a perfectly functioning wheel already and this will lead to a diminishing number of sim racers available to compete against. my theory is that when you have a larger number of available competition you end up with a much more evenly spread level of competition resulting in better racing. Another issue for me was the fact that my Turtle beach PX5 "wireless" (that's what I payed the extra cash for) would require me to plug a cord in from my headset to a Ps4 controller to be able to use the voice chat feature that worked perfectly well on the Ps3 without said cord unless I shell out for a new "Ps4" headset.

2. I have always had the ambition to one day build a motion simulator and this would require me moving to PC gaming. So this seemed like a good time to make the change, I was going to be up for $500 for the Ps4, $70 per year for playstation plus ( over the life of a Ps4 @ 8-10y=$6-700) so that put me in the ball park of a reasonable gaming PC.

So I bit the bullet and bought myself a gaming PC and am now enjoying the much better physics of Assetto corsa ( after playing the GT series from 1-6) until Project Cars comes out in march, can't wait !

Can't argue with that. PS4 was the natural progression for me also, so I already have one. My DFGT was on its last legs too so of the available wheels I chose one that was compatible with most platforms. The only outlay I have to make for PCars is for the game itself.

I think you would have been surprised with the amount of PS4 hardcore racers coming into PCars though, there will be many of them like me in my situation, and the cost of a new wheel and game is much cheaper than a complete shift from console to PC gaming. If they were to buy the T300 they would of course have a GT7 compatible wheel too.

The fact that it is possible PlayStation entered a deal with Thrustmaster is no surprise, and it's not the first time this has happened either. Heck, if you happen to be an xbox faithful the only choice at one point was to go fanatec. Which is as we know very expensive kit. As with most things this generation we find ourselves in a social revolution where ideas pick up momentum in an instant around communities and indeed the world. Sony have done nothing to spite you, they have followed the same models and business plans they always have, its a shame to lose anyone from the brand and my potential PCars friends list but... I'd be lieing if I said I've never thought about buying myself a proper Sim Pc. Good luck to ya, let us see that motion rig when you get it finished 👍

True, Sony did not do the TM exclusive to spite anyone, well maybe Logitech, but certainly not to spite the fans, but the other side of the coin is they didn't go out of their way to accomodate their existing customers either. Anyone wanting to progress in gaming at this point is faced with purchasing a new console or perhaps a new or upgraded PC so we'll each spend out money to do so in a way that makes the most sense to us. PS no longer makes sense to me and the lack of wheel support for Logitech is a big part of that and it appears to be a concern to others as well. How many remains to be seen but I'm kind of glad to see so many people making decisions based on principle rather than purely from a financial standpoint.
