I'll be online on The Last of Us in a little less than 2 hours. Don't forget to send me a friend request if you want me to invite you to the clan!

I've also started my Survival run, and damn is ammo a rare find. Fallen enemies almost never drop anything, so you really have to think about when you want to use your guns, and when you want to improvise. You take slighty more damage, and you can't use your hearing to locate enemies. Also, comics, paper notes and Firefly pendants don't shine. Which makes it a tad difficult to find them all without a guide.

For anyone playing on Survivor, I very much recommend saving Shivs for locked doors, as locked rooms almost always have a little ammo and other nice things.

When i did my run on Normal I've noticed that there's a lot of bricks lying almost every where in places where you meet enemies. Never got it why, since we had arrows, ammo, and crafting Molotov's and nail bombs to kill enemies.

On survivor finally turned out why they are lying there. I had to learn to kill enemies with bricks and bottles. Much more effective than choke grab.

I'm trying to kill stealthily on survivor, but sometimes it happens that they find me and i, without any ammo, have to rely on friendly NPC's to kill them. Some encounters take 5-10 minutes then. :D I know i'll regret being triggerhappy later on.

The Facebook thing is making my game go mental.

Sorry Jawehawk for dropping out of that last game. My system froze and the Facebook thing flickered through 1000000 messages about people eating.

So far, I'm not impressed by the online. It's not that it's bad, it's just plain lackluster. Is it really too much to ask that the infected be included in the online portion of the game? Ohh, and body armor is over powered bull****

Ah what? They didn't have the infected online? :(

I finished the game yesterday and was going to start again on survivor, but when I go to the continue on plus I cant choose survivor. Do I need to play 3 times to beat the game on survivor? Whats the difference between plus and just a new game where I can choose survivor?

Plus means that you carry over your upgrades from last game. This can only be done for a difficulty that you've already completed. Meaning that you can't just complete it on hard, and then carry your upgrades over to survival.

Been playing for a few nights now and I must say I have never had so many jaw dropping moments when playing a game. I am a sucker for storytelling and they did a superb job!

Online isn't really bad at all. You just have to be patient and make every shot count. I kind of like it so far. Like it quite a bit infact. Better than what games like Far Cry 3 offer as a matter of fact.

Using a guide for collectibles while playing on survival difficulty is super slow going, I am getting through about 20% of the story per night although I could finish it all off tomorrow (Saturday). Then survivor plus and that will be sp done and dusted.

I picked it up last night, lots of fun. The action starts to pick up the further you get. I'm in Philadelphia now so I still have a ways to go.

Just wait until you get to the burgh. It's really intense.

Unfortunately the mini game with the 'camp' and such sucks! It's a decent game online, but the ability to buy armour and such on the fly is also a bit rubbish and like a kill streak it makes the team already win win by more and that's not clever. The reward for success should be the satisfaction, XP and bragging rights, not the ability to kick a team while they're down. In addition if someone quits mid game their spot never gets filled so whichever team remains disadvantaged for the entire round which in a 4v4 is a huge problem.

That said it didn't ruin my experience, the only thing that really annoyed me was winning every single match and then getting disconnected (along with my friend) and my entire camp going hungry/unhealthy effectively meaning I could get set back to square 1 (literally) if people rage quit and shutdown without quitting properly.

On the flip side the combat is tactical, tense and unforgiving providing some excellent moments and close matches. At it's best the multiplayer is very good, but those small flaws would stop me being invested over time.

The single player however is beyond anything else this year to me and one of the best not just of the generation but for me, all time. The story telling is just on a completely different scale, though Bioshock Infinite had an incredible story I felt it was somewhat overwritten and poorly told as you could miss incredibly vital details by not running around every inch of every area.

Immersive, emotional, unforgettable. A true must have for PS3 owners.

Finished it yesterday, and boy am I amazed or what? I had no idea a game could be so emotionally loaded and make you feel so attached to a pair of characters, nor did I know that a PS3 game could look this beautiful. It took me relatively long to play it through (22 hours) and that's much thanks to the amazing graphics. Sometimes I'd just stop and admire it.

The Last of Us is the best game I've ever played and it will probably be for years to come. In fact, I wouldn't mind if its the best game I'll ever come to play really. It's that good.

Just saw that the season pass costs about 30$ in the swiss store.

Sadly the DLC seem to only extend multiplayer, therefore I won't buy it anyway, most likely at least.

The game itself is truly wonderful. Worth every penny and one of the best 13-14 hours I've ever spent for the singleplayer of a videogame.

Wonderful ending, it just... It's an end that just doesn't really end, although it technically does. I kept thinking about it, it just didn't let me finish with it. That's that sort of stuff to turn the scale of being good or excellent in direction of the latter.
I love how the game tries to let you create a, how can I put it in words, relationship with and between the characters. It really let the will grew to *sorry, just don't want to have a spoiler* at the end.

The only thing which slightly annoyed me was that clickers meant the sure death if they came too close. I first didn't know that there's an upgrade which gives you the ability to knife kill them. Although maybe I think too shortsighted now and exactly that made the combats better... ehh.... possible.

Oh and the game costs 72.90CHF as download version in the PSN store, but I got the disc for 68.90CHF in a regular store without any discounts.

EDIT: Also, the dynamic theme isn't thaaaaat great.

There is a clicker defence. You can become shiv master and it gives you a chance to shiv them when they grab you.

I found that out waaaayy too late. :)

And I actually played the entire game without upgrading anything. Can't really tell why, I simply didn't.
