Good thing I came and checked times, I would have missed qualifying for race 1! I'll plan on getting on as soon as the room goes up. Pretty excited for the race!

Skaanky, I know it can be a bit of a hassle but if someone is willing to drive a pace car I think we should consider it. If everyone here is heads up enough and can behave themselves a safety car can add a lot of immersion and realism to the series. Not to mention excitement and drama!

Cracking, it should be good racing in both rooms.

The thing with pace car, is there are only 16 room places, the series is currently overbooked and there are people who want to race in reserve. I'd rather have 16 cars racing than 15.

Oh and all drivers remember to close mics and exit any playstation party they might be in to avoid breaking other drivers concentration or causing unneeded extra lag

And be sure to have the minimap ON and the extra rear view mirror aswell.
Easier to know when to let people passed during qualy and if you are getting lapped in the race.

My screen was frozen down the whole straight in lap in lap 2 or 3. When it unfroze I was in a wall with 3 wheels, and on my screen Oz's car was pinning me to the wall even though he was still driving around on his screen. Did I take anyone out?

**** sake. A comfortable fifth position half way through the race and the game black screen crashes on me.

First race , hit by someone ( first corner ) and went of the road and I get 1O seconds penalty mmmmmwahahaha unbelievable .
So , from last place back to 7 place .
Wheel felt not the same like I did in practice in first race to softy .

Second race , whoooo wheel feel good laptime to in qualifying but ..... the race started and I had a crack in my wheel when I waned to turn in to a corner , on top of that I had to break hard in the fast chicane to not hit the driver in front of me with the result I put a gear to low ( my fault ) and I spun , bang bang hit the wall .
Was not in the mood to continue with a cracked wheel when you turn .

But what dooooooo I love Watkins Glen GP track

First of all sorry to everyone I made contact with, I promise I'm not a dirty driver. @LVracerGT on the first turn in race 2 I very lightly scraped your quarter panel on the exit and we were both were dragged off track and got penalties. Then on the long sweeper I'm not entirely sure what happened but I think the invisible wall on my car hit your invisible wall and pushed you into the wall again. From my pov we never made contact, but it's still my fault either way. antz1980 sorry again.

Edit: I strongly think penalties should be off for the races as they cause a lot of collisions and damage when people are slowed dramatically by getting a penalty. If people cut we can use penalties outside of the game and replays.

I clearly didn't practice enough bc I was last due to myself making a couple of late breaking especially going in to the chicane after the long straight, I need to spend at least three nights this week practicing purely on hockenheim set ups, if anyone wants to join me I'd be more than happy to help you. I'm glad that everyone is up for clean racing and the accidents caused today were genuine misrakes but it's racing and **** happens

Had 2 great races with close fighting, especially the first one.

In the second race I chased @killerramsay for 20 laps, the gap being almost identical the whole race, before this bug made me spin 3 times and lose 2 places on the last lap.

Have anyone else had the same issue?

I almost forgot about our battle in race one. It was epic to say the least, very clean as well. Thanks for not running into me when I went for the all or nothing outside pass on the uphill hairpin.

Ye I messed up the downshift in the corner before that and lost my speed going up to the hairpin. Thought I'd defend the inside but braked abit too early and could hear you sneaking pass on the outside.

Will hopefully be able to upload both races tomorrow as it's abit too late here in the north to sit and edit the videos in the middle of the night when I got work in a few hours.

You, me and @Skaankypuppy had some epic battles that surely will be worth seeing again.

I appreciate the apology oz. Unfortunately both contacts really ruined my race. I don't like how the collision physics cause both cars to just not be able to steer. I agree that hard penalties should be turned off, I thought I was pretty lucky I was able to get out of the way quickly when I got the 5 second "cut track" penalty.

Also not sure who I was side by side with in the pink and black BMW M3 up through the esses, I got a better run out of turn 1 and took the inside, lifted and gave room in turn 2 and then got hip checked and spun going up through turn 3 when I was on the outside, and that was the second time I was forced wide there in race 2. I understand hard racing, but I think there was some poor judgement moves in race 2.
