Is there any room in this next race? I just want to dip my toe back in the water as I have took the summer off online racing and I'm debating whether or no I should keep in racing in championships!
I am very cleen and will avoid a accident at all costs, I also enjoy a good battle and this looks the the best place go do it!

Join the club man! I'm going backwards with my setup. Going to reset all later and start again from low '37's to not getting out of 1.38's now. My car hates this track. Anyways its all fun enjoying the challenge.
I'm stuck at 1:38.200 with the BMW MTO3 at this moment no matter what I try in my setup .
Anyway. ....it is what it is so let's have a good race guy's.

I will put your name down. I need to check numbers once I get home, as there were a few people who did not message/show up for the last race, but I know we are very close to 2 rooms of 16 (I think this weekend there may be a total of 3 spots).

Once I get home and take a good look I should be able to let you know exactly, but I'm sure this weekend the two new signups will be good, plus Fil140. Ernst J will not be available this weekend, so his spot will be available for one race.

For now I am only looking for one race, if it goes well and it turns out there isn't enuf space for me for the hole season I will have to look at other series! So dint worry if there isn't room for the other races!

That's fine. The key is practice of the track. The more the better.

maybe be a bit more carefull when your tires are gone in those corners ;)

when on long tracks like the nord/le mans for a long race i get it when penalties are off,.. but in races like this league they should be on to prevent corner cutting and stuff :dunce:
Corner cutting isn't a problem with the people I've raced with in the series. Avoiding accidents or getting pushed wide and getting penalties is a major problem though. It is what it is at this point though since we can't do anything about it, unless we go to rolling starts, which never ever work as intended.

Everyone will need to take extra special care at the start and not 'Crashtor Maldonado' into other people putting them wide. If care is given and people don't try and win it on the first corner, we can all get through the corner in both rooms.

Care and consideration is the key, whilst I appreciate places can be made and lost on the start, getting through the first corner without damage is priority for everyone! Keep it clean, keep it real!

I'm filing a complaint @Skaankypuppy

I'm against such considerate suggestions like the one above, that would make the faster guys (all those in front of me) get out of first 2 corners without crashes.
This slims the chances of slower drivers (me) to not get last in both races! :D

I might not be able to make it tommorow. Visiting my grandad in hospital and he lives 2 hours away! Mabby next week?

So what happened with the incidents from Watkins then? Were they reviewed at all or are we carrying on with the "don't wreck anyone" policy?

Edit: I realized I may have sounded aggressive. Basically just asking if the incidents were reviewed or if future incidents will be reviewed, or are we going by an agreement to try not to wreck anyone? Because incidents still happen even when everyone is trying to stay clean. I think there should be a stewards review available to sort incidents out like Watkins where we didn't exactly know what happened between me and azidahaka.

I fear the only chance we have is just to trust other driver's correctness... I showed my video to prove my "innocence" (recorded live and i stress that) and in it there was no/zero/nilch contact... problem is that if all replays are different and if there is an invisible wall around cars it might happen that there are contacts in which just one driver is affected while for the other no contact ever happened...

I guess all should be extra careful... For example i lost 7th in race 2 for a "push you out!" manouver from @McKiernan but didn't complain because it might very well have been the same situation, since i'm 100% positive that if in his game/race he would have damaged me and pushed me out that way like it happened, he would have given me the position.

It's a complex matter and how replays and game work won't help us since all replays are different, and stewarding is a big issues without fast forward in replays.

Not to mention that real time recording and replays show different things at times >_>

Every incident was talked about here on the thread and in party's. Just about every thing that happened was because of game bugs, not people ramming each other. One incident that had consequences was mine and antz because it was driver error and not game bugs.

At last I've got some confidence with Hockenheimring .

Guy's be aware for the first turn , not only for the start but also in race .
I would say "ITS A ONE HEL OF A DIRTY CORNER/TURN "

Have a good and clean race this evening guy's .

O yes , if you would encounter a landmine try to drive around it , if your wheel has problems turn it off , if you are disconnected go see the doctor and .... if you have not put enough fuel in your car for the race than youwhooooo've got a problem :P

@Skaankypuppy i'll be online tonight again in case there's a no show so i can join room 2. Did so last week but sadly my connection decided to play up just at the wrong time, so disconnected :(

Anyone else having problems with getting kicked out to the psn menu at times?
Also 4 times yesterday alone the share window decided to pop up during laps resulting in me crashing each time.

I actually woke up 10 minutes ago and the last dream I had for real was me getting kicked out to the psn menu mid race tonight. (I need help yes).
So guess that's a bad omen.

It never happened once to me on Watkins and I drove way more laps on that circuit.

May I join into the Circuit?
Of course. Currently would be looking at being reserve, but there is a good chance of a space, as I am yet to fully go through the numbers, as @SK8RBOI is not going to make this race.

I was under the impression this was deemed a bug incident, as there was a difference in location of the cars. I am trying to be as fair as possible and without the multiple replays and views the FIA get it is hard to be fully accurate with incidents. I will try and get to the bottom of things after each race, but this is reliant of the affected people saving replays.

My re-enforcing the take it easy on the 1st corner is to get everyone into the mentality that it can't be won on the 1st corner, but can certainly be lost. I am sure between us all we can sort out issues with incidents and accidents.

No problems Hammy. As long as you have Night4001 on your PSN he will send you an invite for room 2. I have you down as being a driver for the race.

Hi can i sign up if not too late?
Psn:bajny
Thanks
Of course Banjy. Currently it will be reserve, but it there is increased interest I can look into trying to get a room 3 set up for additional drivers, but this causes issues with scoring and the like, so it may just be a room with the reserve drivers. It is a pity all the new drivers did not put their names down before the start, as we could have run 3 rooms I think.

Skaanky if i'm not wrong you are approaching 43-44 drivers... you should think of making a separate 3rd tier room to not keep those guys idle?

I have thought of this, but even though the list of drivers looks long, I have not heard from the drivers who missed the last race, so am assuming they are now MIA. I am afraid between working, looking after my kids a few days a week, practicing etc I do not have the time to chase people. I would like to have a pool of drivers who just turn up, without needing to be reminded, it isn't school anymore.
I just don't have the time and would rather drivers who are regularly online, practicing etc, as turnout is much more reliable then.

Good for you i'm stuck in 40s and the car's not very behaving... At least it seems i won't have tires problems if we race 20 laps.

Just curious fella, May I ask your age ?

Iam still rolling with the Merc #87 for those new boys that don't know.

Make sure your headseats are muted please,
