You mean after the update? I Haven't played since i kept getting kicked off Sunday. I saw that it downloaded late Sunday night but haven't tried it out. Is this for all cars?

Whatever cars with tires they changed, which is most. It's a mess right now. The changes they listed shouldn't have done what they did.

It is very sad. They also picked the worst month of the year to screw up in. There's a game coming out for everybody in November.

I disagree, they are perfectly ok... I tested them only on M3 but they really behave as they should and not even overheat...

You just can't use the tires to brake you car or keep turning and turning when the car wants to widen up its racing line and if you the get heated... i posted my finding with photos even. the consumption is 10% the same, times are actually faster now. So i guess it's your driving or way of tuning guys... I did 10 laps at bathurst no problem and made a whole test race of 14 laps at Road America yesterday too.

I'll post my setup for bathurst when i get home today maybe you can spot what is now wrong in your setups and brings your tires to impossible temperatures.

I believe your findings come from your tires now being at the perfect temperature where as in 5.0 you weren't pushing as hard in the corners so your tires were cooler. In the pictures you posted you can see your front left is darker in 6.0.

Yup it's a little hotter, but after the downhill section it goes back to normal and that is without tuning for 6.0.

If i tried to take corners too fast in the downhill section and using the "carcass" of the tire and extreme wheel movement like in qualifying i can assure you i would get that tire 100% red at 180c in 2 laps.

That light extra temperature is after 10 consecutive laps.

Yes on Bathurst that extra temperature is ok because there is a mile long straight to cool them down. When you go to a track with less straights the temperature won't go down and it will get progressively worse.

We need another good racing game because this is wearing a little thin with all its problems, i froze in the first 3 mins after the update. It should be running way more soild by now, such a shame its really is SHIFT2 all over again.

For everyone: Im getting on shortly to see whats going on here with the HEAT!!!! Lots of mixed reviews popping up in the other forums. I will post my views soon. I hate it for you guys that 6.0 effected negatively. Sucks. Must be a drastic change. And in other news im looking at a promotion at work. Found out this morning. Also weve got a hell of a game coming soon.

I'm in the process of sorting it out now. There have been some no shows, so it may end up only being one room this weekend, as I am away, McGerty (@Over Active) is away, @Goruk has not shown for a few weeks now, @BlownsmokOs wheel is not looking like being replaced any time soon. I'm not sure if @Kkj10 is still racing.

I'd like to get to the end of the season at the very least, before things fall apart.

Ok Ive given it a run and i have mixed feelings here. Since i was putting up good times at brands i used that as my test track. I had to slow down some to keep the tires happy. This has messed up my target time of 1:32 that i have been trying to reach. Even if i could reach it ill burn my tires up getting there. My conclusion is we are going to have to rewire are brains and adjust driving style. Its like every time i start getting my head wrapped around tuning, its time to relearn. Final thoughts Darin. Lol Skannky even though ive missed a few, sorry, im still in it bro.

I'm telling you skanks you looking at it all wronge. You can't blame yourself for bad game/patches and mechanics. You a successful series slightly better than stallis. Skanks gt3 series is a known and respected series with great administers. You have a firm hold on when project cars 2 comes along with any other racing game that may come. As i has said before when no one listen to me other than oz. Be ready for your number of participants to drop a lot, to many heavy hitting games coming out this game will die after December.

I'm really surprised this game lasted this long Tbh. Nevertheless I had great fun and gratefull for bunch friends I made here even the ones way faster than me lol. I will be realising my first ever montage in thanksgiving. My thanksgiving gift to all my friends as prepare for siege.

I don't agree that this game will die after December....For sure there are always new games coming out in the run up to Christmas, but that doesn't mean this game will be dropped by everyone, especially us wonnabe racers! For example Gran Turismo first came out in 1997 and nearly 20 years later it's still going strong!

Also, with the constant DLC coming out well into next year, there is a lot to look forward to!

I'm thinking if maybe in the next series, the season was halved. Keeping the same format and every thing else, maybe the points system be adjusted somewhat because of the season being so short.

And maybe have a two/ three week break in between those seasons.
Keeping short and sweet, would be keeping it keen. If maybe Papa Skaanks and the admins could analyz where in the current season people started to drop, and work out that, that should be the cut off point to the next season.

Oh and by the way can someone try and get zsogun to get back in the series, even tho I have never spoken to him. II do miss his shenanigans in room two.

All is more than ok with my tires, laptimes were high because i was gifted a big crash from the AI soon enough and lost around 10km/h of top speed lol I think i can get around 2.08 or so, but man i'll never race an absless car ever from now on
