I guess all got the message man it's like the 5th time you call me too slow to give an opinion or talk in different threads here on gtplanet. 1,2,3 times i cool and ok, now it's more than enough.

I do not need anyone to tell me that i'm not fast i know it myself, but if it was @Skaankypuppy @ozwheels @Goruk @Rexuz @killerramsay or anyone else that had wheels on track with me it would be no problem, but man, did you ever bothered to get on track?

Also no one suggests you to drive Like a granny... I push 95% on normal laps and get overheated only if i ask too much.

What car are you driving? Setup?

Also it's not true that faster guys are the most affected, ask Ramsey, pedroeol, rexuz....

At he end of the day Karsten its all personal preference what suits you or not. I know patch 6.0 is not for me. If you are happy that's great race away. Why would I do something for as pass time I dont like since patch 6.0.

Anyway Road America is not all particularly hard on tyre's only the final third of the race track. Spain, Watkins Glen, Brands Hatch to name a few are a different story on tyre heat on PS4 but not on PC.

Its all about lap times and speed, if your 4 seconds of pace then you won't have much of a problem with tyres, as you are stating, im not calling you slow but thats how it is.

So, in which race we had together I was 4 (four) seconds slower on pace from you or anyone else?

I actually am struggling with the tyres. the best I got the other night was that low 1.46 you saw me get, but after that lap my left rear was 126*c/258*f. I had taken it easy the previous laps to try to heat cycle the tyres but one lap pushing cooked my tyres. Catalonia was a tyre killer before the patch & it's worse for me now. I'm not a fan of the patch, I think it was an attempt in the right direction but was overdone.

I'm still gonna race, and cling desperately to a vague hope that they will make better changes to the tyre heating model.

I know zakspeed well and the lad has a lot of speed I can say and would be right at the front on most races and I agree with what the lads are saying with patch 6 they have went in right direction but way over did it as it takes way to long for temps to come back down and doesn't matter what setup changes you do it cant be stopped I wonder if pireli have a contract with the game now haha

Did a 16 laps test race without any problems.

Waiting For @Skaankypuppy for confirming the laps and weather.

Pleasa asap mate you know i try to plan as accurate as possible when i train.

Btw I got the old vs new,racing icon and the old lotus ones...

Impressions in short after a couple of hours:

Rouen is pretty ok. Good for old f1s but I'm pretty sure clips and bmw320 wtcc can have great races on long circuit.

Short version has less overtake chances and no properly wide parts. Good only for old lotuses.

Hockenheim is not the version I remembered... Not too bad but I should run it some extra time. May be actually ok for gt3 and great for more recent lotuses and lmp cars.

Silverstone seems perfect for gt3 touring.

I had my first taste of the dlc cars...

Bentley is cool and very grippy but has wheel on wrong side so I have issue driving it with inside view..

The 320 wtcc is fun on real aids no traction control nor abs but gets around differently from other cars.

I had a look at the weather, and I think it should be clear.

I also have done a few laps. First lap take it easy then push on the 2nd. I managed 1:45.1's but have to have a cool down lap after. The tyres are OK if you keep it easy, but as soon as you remotely push the car my tyres are ****ed after a lap. Pardon my French lol

If you read back a couple of pages some of WMD (ermo) who has been trying to get to the bottom of this has acknowledge that there is a problem

know if we can get SMS devs (casey) to say there is a problem before patch 12.0

Does anyone have a replay first race , room 2 . I dont know who thought it was a good idea to go three wide at RA after the long downhill straight at the hard left but you caused me damage to my suspension which ruined my race. They passed me between the wall and the curb in the grass. There was no patients demonstrated during the first few laps. I was going to leave but have decided to stay. Ive been with these guys for a long time and im not going to let someone elses incompetence ruin my fun with this league. Sorry but this needs to happen.

Now we know tyre hud is a gimmick what else are we looking at as Christmas decorations.

Myself and Skaanky are planing running practice tonight to get as many people in room. Around 9 or 9.30 UK time.

Lets get this series finished on a high for next year's season 2 and hope SMS have sorted camber and listened to us on other matter's.

For basically 150 pages or so there were some very condescending comments directed towards anyone who suggested there was a problem with the new tyre model. Everything from "you need a wheel to be smooth", to "maybe sims aren't for you" was thrown about. It wasn't until a WMD member who has PCARS on PC & XBONE posted a video showing clearly that there is a problem on console that some started to accept there may be an issue. I shared the Mark Webber comment on there & one of the 1st comments on it was to ask if he was talking about qualifying lol.

Those are my favorite kind of people. Sheep as one young buck once said. They agree with the majority even though they don't have a freaking clue what they are agreeing on. Then as soon as someone proves their beliefs wrong, they instantly jump the fence.
