Any idea what kind of laptime will be done at Watkins Glen ?
The best times will probably be 41s.Any idea what kind of laptime will be done at Watkins Glen ?
Car track resets will be banned and not to be used in races or any time during this series. If people bin the car, they need to make their way back to the track as they would in real life.
I would advise un-assigning the button, as if someone uses a reset during a race, they will be disqualified.
Either be first out, or last out and wait a bitWill be an interesting qualy on Watkins.
Even yesterday on a long track like Spa with 10-13 cars in the room, even when some cars where still in the pits I hit traffic a few times on fast laps.
Watkins is shorter and more narrow, plus that all 16 cars basically will be out on track at the same time.![]()
Me to I look at the big map to find the right moment to go out of the garage , but I think that I'm not the only one because yesterday several time at Spa I hit the drive button and at that same moment someone else is coming out of the garage .I've noticed that to,traffic will be play a hand. In the other gt3 series first race I only got 1 shot cus of it. The big map helps a lot I'm usually against having so much **** on my screen.
Great track love it .Practice room up on Watkins Glen, message SkaankyPuppy on PSN for an invite.
Ehy @Skaankypuppy how many laps and what is the target time for watkins? I think i should start turning a wheel there.
Thanks, you choose a damn lot of track i dislike or hate in this championship so i should better work my ass offWatkins Glen laps will be 20 and a target time is 1:41.4-1:46 ish. If you can get into the 1:43's you will be pretty competitive.
I will also be updating the weather shortly, I just need a few minutes spare, it is looking like it is grey overcast for Race 1 and Cloudy overcast for race 2. I will confirm a little later with the weather.
@Rexuz you are correct. No Bentley, you can use the M3, but it will not have ABS, just like in Qualifying. The M3 is a great car to drive and pretty fast, but I would be wary of the lack of ABS and the issues it would give locking wheels into corners, but it is worthy of selection, even without the ABS. It all depends on how well you think you will be able to get it to a stop on the tracks we will be running on.
What really, no flipping wonder, did I miss something, the room said abs and tc, OKLol I didn't even realise ABS was off during the qualy.![]()
