Another sign (other than the NGP) that Sony is finally winding down the PSP. They have just announced they are going to remaster some of the formats biggest / best games for use on PS3. This is similar to the HD collection's they have been issuing with remastered PS2 titles and it called the Playstation Portable Remaster Series.
This is also a way of getting backwards compatibly with the NGP because these remastered games can also be played on it. Its seems backwards compatibility in the console world has actually become 'sell it to you again'!
But there are some great changes, they will be in HD with improved graphics, most will have online play and some will have 3D support. Also new content, control remapping and tweaks might be included. I'm really excited about this because I always wished that you could play some of those titles on PS3. A remastered version of something like MGS Peacewalker would be amazing.
So far Monster Hunter 3 is the only game which has been announced, read more here...
