Yes, it would..
But I have a feeling we've seen all DLC for GT5 already.. Don't think there will be any more. Can't even remember when the last one arrived.
My guess is that what we see now will most likely end up in GT6. I don't know when the realease of PS4/GT6 is scheduled.. But I don't think late 2013 or early 2014 is far off.
But there's always hope. 👍
This was nothing more than my very own personal guess.
There's a lot of money lost if PD drops DLC... I don't buy that argument.
I will buy the DLC and so will millions of others and PD isn't going to pass up that revenue stream over the next 18 months. They may not give us all we'd like to see, but they'll trickle it out there and take our money and I'll willingly surrender the cash and pay for the content a second time when GT6 comes out.
It's not hope, it's $$$$ and ¢¢¢¢.
I will also buy any future DLC given it's good enough ofc.
Only reason why
I think we've most likely seen the last DLC for GT5 is that it was said that we'd get a DLC approxomately every 2 months. And how long have it been since the last one? 6-7 months?
PD is a relatively small company, and are most likely working their a**** of to make GT6 the best sim (I dare to call it a "sim" because I have huge hopes for what PS4 will be capable of) ever. They do not have any margin for error or delays this time around. And they know it.
Also keep in mind that the amount of details and complexity will most likely require even more time to program.
I would'nt say no to a new DLC, and I don't say that it won't happen. All I'm saying is that
I think we've seen the last DLC, but I sertainly don't hope so.. As I said, there's always hope. 👍
I can't figure how making DLC would cost more than the millions it has brought in so far every time. Can't be that big of a job to model a few cars and one new track.
Ofc PD make money when they create and sell DLC.
What I think is their problem now is how they will find the time to focus on DLC for an "old" game when the next generation of platfomrs stand at the door..
Cause another delay like the one we saw with GT5, and the flaws GT5 had (A lot of them have been fixed now, but I'm talking about when the game just came out), a delay/disapointment at GT6 will cost them LOADS more than a couple of DLC income.
Add to that that GT6 is (as far as I understand) planed as a realease title to PS4.
Don't think SONY will be that pleased with a delay/not completed game. Now that would be expensive..
No one need to buy my arguments.
And I hope we'll see more DLC's..
But
I don't think so. Let's say I'm 30/70 for any more DLC for GT5.

One thing keeps my hopes up. And that's the fact that we got Spa in October, so given that GT5 have 18ish months left to "live", a GT5-versoin of a GT6 track might be available somewhere between now and "the end" so to speak.
And some more OT:
A question:
I did'nt play GT5 for a month and a half, and got online the other day for soma CALM practice (aiming to race at LaSarthe 👍 ), and before I could start the game, there was an update landing at almost 500 mb IIRC.. What was that all about?
I read something about weight transfer beeing more present, and thinking about my practice session, I think I felt it..
Or was it just me beeing rusty at the wheel?
And to end my post with something ON topic:
Any times for the GTE class aroud LaSarthe to share?
A good time is around 3:55's perhaps?
