I don't think we should move on. People depended on getting into the finals with this race so its not fair to give them the chance. Personally, if its not going ahead tonight, the schedule should be set back a week, not missing out the last race.

And im pretty sure than 5 guys will show up. Its not even been a day since you've said the race has been cancelled. Pretty sure a PM or a message on PSN would work.

At this point it would have to postpone it. Way to close to start time with nobody qualified to run it. Unfortunately that puts outlaw out to pasture since he won't be able to attend.

Simple show up early. Reset track ten minutes before green flag. Qualify. Park in pits after. Start race. Order be set.

Do that for both races this weekend. We can keep schedule and still stack grid by fastest.

I'm about 95% sure qualifying that way will not set the correct order. Never does anymore.

For my kart series, we did that style qualifying, then reset the track and lined up manually like you do. Worked perfectly every time.

Doubtful. The championship race would be on the 5th, and I'll be doing a big move a day or so after that.

Like I said, there's no need to cancel a race because of me. Besides, after this move, I'm not even sure I'll be able to race anymore.

This is actually welcome news to me. I'm on call this weekend and got called in, so I was going to miss out... So are we treating this like a fresh race week, resetting the qualifying boards, and re-qualifying once we have the chicane rule sorted?

Now that I think about it, to avoid that stupid chicane who would be up for switching to Madrid or Rome? Since we're postponing that gives everyone a week to practice.

If we're going that direction, it's better replacing a technical street course with another one. Then again, Rome would be more of a draft-fest which means a greater chance of position swapping.

However, if anyone really wants to race Monaco (just for fun), I can open a room right now.

Actually it would be reverse anyway. That tight left/right is much more fun and not as crazy in Reverse.

Hop on in. We're thinking of doing two 10 lappers. First race by fastest time, then we invert via results.
