It is Tim, but it's definitely possible to go lower. I know I ran a few 13.0's on my 2nd flyer in practice, with a PB of 12.7 on warm rubber.

I had 2 setups:
One was fast after lap 3 and I hit my first and only 13.0 on lap 4.
I couldn't get in the low 13s before lap 13 if I drove the wheels off it.

Setup 2 was good for 13.4s on lap 1 and a best of 13.2 on lap 2.

The main difference was the ride height I think:
Higher = slower first few laps, faster later.
Lower = faster laps 1 and 2 but slower overall.
Never could I get close to 13.0 with anything.

Green's room still open: 1472-6118-4259-7710-5904

I would like to Q if someone stops by, else it will be tomorrow.

I am finally happy with my tranny and did a 12.7, on nice warm tyres.

I was looking and the OP and the Q sheet link still says "Monaco".
I try and hit the qualify times in other series for fun. I would hated to have seen me give up on GT5 if I saw people hitting 1.13s at monaco with only 265 HP on SS tires

I could see that... my car doesn't start hitting it's best laps until 4-8 and it's a tightly sprung tall-boy. Suppose lower ride-height should provide more lateral loading on the tires but less mechanical grip. Could see that heating them up sooner and wearing faster.

I've done 15 or so laps with tall boy, and low rider. I was still hitting 13.9s-14.2s on both setups although I found the latter more consistent, even with a tad more wear.

Room number posted above.

Thanks for the tune by the way. I'm in the mid 14s now. I was in the 16s the other night.

Not going to interfere with the championship contenders this week. Good luck with the race 👍

Gonna be a little awkward, think i'll have to start at the back too..

Thought I was gonna be sitting around the house today but i've gotta pop into liverpool again so I think i'll miss quali deadline.

Starting from the back here doesn't bode well for your chances of getting those 5 points you need to bump green from the bubble.

Does anyone know how many laps? I'm guessing it's about 45 laps as Q times are about the same as murray valley.

Josh it's not where you start it's where you finish :D, which for me will probably be in the wall :P...goodluck tonight mate.

Hahahaa exactly! Only thing i'm worried about is bouncing off the walls with heavy damage (wishes for pileups..). But goodluck too bud, should be a laugh. 👍

Alright, I think I'm alive now...mostly.

Race will be 45 laps. I should have the room open in about ~45 minutes.

I'm not going to race either as I've had a surprise visit from the other half's parents (just what I wanted) plus I'm going to help out with the WSGTC finals

I got the times mixed up with the WSGTC finale, committed to that a while ago, having the extra week really caught me off, sorry.

Sorry guys, had to stop at lap 19 or 20. 5 pit stops in 18 laps and lapped twice by Green (can imagine his face every time him flying past hahahaa..) so thats pretty much gave my championship spot up, so grats Green, you were whizzing around in this race!

He's doing great. Was catching Aderrrm by a couple tenths or so a lap, but Adam just made a mistake so Green went past and is pulling away. He's on fire! :P

Edit: I will say that Adam pitted really early to repair damage, so Green's tires are in much better shape.
