Well the main idea of the multiple threads wasn't implemented as I had envisioned anyway. Here's what the idea was supposed to look:

"Yeah, make a "Technical thread" for Sign ups, team or time changes, questions, qualifying times, results, tunes, and suggestions. Keep the main thread for just discussing everything like races, race photos, qualifying room requests, even discussions about things in the technical thread, etc.

So the basic general rule of thumb should be, " If you want something to be addressed or saved post it in the technical thread, if you want to talk about it, ask your fellow racers for their opinions in the main thread because there will be no discussion in the technical thread, only important posts."

So it'd be easy, like a direct line to you, type of thread, is all it would be. If you keep discussion out of it then it'd be perfect. People will end up posting something in the technical thread then asking people in the main, " Ok, I just posted a question in the technical thread, what do you all think?"

There was essentially supposed to be a "signal" thread and a "noise" thread. Much simpler.

But I realize that it pretty much ends up being too much and against what the basics of forum discussion really goes by so meh, just an experiment. All good now.

And yes Tim, Denilson and I invented the race specific thread concept for WSGTC 2 in order to keep track of times posted by people in the large main thread (we would miss them all the time) so the race specific thread would only be for posting the OP race information, qualifying times, and tunes. Everything else was in the main thread.

Race specific threads was great.

Any answer regarding the next race could be found in the Race specific thread. All rules, current ballast etc was listed.. Only thing that was posted was specific question regarding the specific round, and quali lap times.

We had a lot of participants, and the posted Q times would get lost in a split second in the main thread. Hence the idea of keeping all quali times posted in the a race specific thread. It worked like a charm. đź‘Ť

The most important thing is to state clearly to the participants what each thread is used for. And ofc, the bigger amonut of participants, the more need to separate things..

It's really not that complicated as some want to put forth.

See that sounds nice and organized. GJ :D đź‘Ť

Yes Tim, it was easy to manage..

What we did in PURE JGTS was to update the OP with race specifics before each race, and also post it on the latest page..

Quali lap times and Ballast did we keep track of on our awesome gate19 site!! đź‘Ť

Either way is perfectly doable imo. đź‘Ť

Just gave the car a test at with a lightly modded copy of Wardez set-up.
5 Laps got me a best lap of 2:12.970, time was left all over the track (I was still line searching) and the car was understeering like a pig. I'm looking for a mid 11.

Any other new guys struggling with rear grip around Suzuka? I used the Wardez tune and dropped the rear to -6 from -4, and the rear AR to 4 from 5. Rear end stays put now. Hope that helps someone.

Have a great day!

How do I go about qualifing for this weekend's race. I have been searching in the threads and looking everyday but can't seem to see when its being held

Anyone going to need to qualify tonight?

I'm doing 2'13 after a few laps at suzuka don't think i'll have time to get proper practice until near the end of the week. So I'll probably do my qualifier on Friday Night.

Off topic but I need a favor. If someone is home and has the game running right now, can you tell me the HP on a Formula GT when you power limit it all the way?

Does anyone have a setup for Suzuka? On default I can hit 1.13.9xx but with a setup I think I could go faster, but I cant set cars up :ouch:
