Tuning allowed or prohibited?

Actually took longer than I thought.

Well, you may already know this but, your paid for rate is in bits and the file size is in bytes. If I remember correctly 8 bits = 1 Byte. So if you're getting 20Mbps, which I doubt, it would've taken 190 seconds.

Do any speed tests yet?

Not yet, plus I've got the PS3 running will do it after. I'm not 100% sure that's what I paid for though, I know it was mentioned somewhere in there and that's what I thought I was getting. Will have to call them tomorrow to be sure.

Even if you are paying for 20 it's highly unlikely you'll get that rate to sites external from your provider's network. To many variables they have no control over.

I think I'm going to make this weekends race after all. I thought about it and the Coke 600 is so long, missing an hour or so won't hurt. I'll just have to leave the surround sound on so I can listen while I'm racing. Been on a little PS3 break for the last week so I'm feeling a little more like racing again. Think I had gotten a little burnt out.

^^ Good to hear you will make this weekend Jay, has anyone been practicing lately? I ran a few laps and have my PB down to 23.9XX. I am still a bit unsure on what gear I need to be in coming out of turn one and the turn before the long uphill back straight. From past Miata races I always thought downshifting to stay high in the revs was best, but it doesn't seem to apply on this track for some reason. My past experiences(not on this track) tell me I should be in 2nd coming out of one, and 3rd going up the back straight..... It just seems to me that I am a bit quicker keeping the car in third out of one, and keeping it in 4th exiting onto the back straight. Anyone else have any thoughts or advice on this?

Finally getting some laps in.

Spent two hours getting re-acquainted with GT5 after not playing for a week. Carra joined in and ran a 23.39, and I wasn't far behind with a 23.45. Oddly enough, the Miata's stepping out on me more than expected.

Wow! What a day of racing. Caught the last 15 laps of Monaco, Indy on at noon on ABC and Coke 600 at 5:30 on Fox. FMTC at 8. When will I find time for practice?

The whole weekend has been great for watching racing 👍

What pretty cool about those three is there is an Austrailian starting on the front of each. Webber got pole by default but still. Kinda cool

Ran some last night. I was also playing with being 1 gear up in those corners. Pb 1:23.863. Mainly 24's. I my open a room earlier while some races are on. If ones not up for practice already.

Good luck tonight.

Not sure if I can make it tonight, I'll let you guys know.. Oh is cutting allowed on that concrete area before the first tunnel or no?

Yea two wheels on the rumble strip is online standard. You can have the whole left of your car in there.

If anyone wants a practice partner, I'm free from now until the start of the NASCAR race. Otherwise, I'll see all of you when the room opens. 👍

What time does the race start? CBS starting telecast at 5:30 I think. I would be happy to get some practice in before tonight.

Not a lot better from me. Just a 23.38, with not much room for improvement.
