Koleen and I have a little proposal for organisers regarding car swaps. He's interested in Lexus and I could inherit his place in Celica.
There are currently 3 Lexus drivers and 4 Celica - this way both teams would fill up to 4 and TWO participants would become much more eager and enthusiastic 👍

Fanatec CSW Report:
When I 1st hooked this wheel up with its 11 plus settings , it came in the most worse trimmed state possible. I almost thru that thing in the trash it was force feed back fighting me so bad. Good thing I didn't tho, I nailed a good base setup after 3 hrs of testing and now its driving well. Using a wheel oppose to a Ds3 its freakin effort less. The car just pushes thru the turns and never gets tough to handle. I got this thing setup where I was changing my trim settings before each turn like an F1 cockpit pilot. All I got to say is NO excuses now Joe, lets see what your really made out of! 👍

No PC setup yet, I'm completely faithful to GT5. I tried other games, but in the end I would just prefer to wait to GT6 gets it right. Plus now that I'm hosting there's isn't anymore available time to work with another platform. If this had been 10 years ago and I was 22yrs old again, it would be iracing, Gran Turismo, Speedtv on a never ending continuous loop, lol! 👍

yeah pritty cool. In my home it is me and my brother and a little boy benjamin 9 years, who love cars sinse he was 5 years old, he playing sometimes. He wil be the new kimi raikonen lol.💡

Old fart young at heart

Kids with fun games will do that to you.

My son got me hooked on GT5 2 Junes past. I didn't have a PS3 then and would go visit him once a month for a weekend and hog his PS3 and play my account in single player. Annoyed him enough, he convinced his mother to buy me a GT5 rig the following Christmas.

Got that all hooked up and commenced to getting all the cars and raced him in private lounges a few times. Jumped in with a PURE series (Integras I think) Mule and RT were running a couple months after I got my rig and discovered how horrible I was at this game. Pestered Jason and everybody that would let me, trying to get better. Didn't get much better that series but I've been in an online series of one type or another ever since. I can usually keep it on the track for an entire race nowadays.

Pined hard core for a G27 setup this last Christmas and got it the week after New Year's. Hasn't made me much faster than with the DFGT but that ain't the wheel's fault.

I've played so much my wife has had to "schedule" TV time and she finally decided to buy her own for the upstairs. Now, her TV

is so much nicer than the one I play on, Imma haveta go sell apples on street corners so's I can afford a newer, bigger one. :LOL: Sucks being addicted to technology.

Pag42: Welcome to a great series. If I understand correctly you and I are about the same age. It is nice to see that I am not the only crazy old dude that feels the need to compete (to the extent possible with limited skills) with these young bucks.

Great race yesterday mainly with Rich (Outlaw). Same as at Motegi and I have a feeling that we will battle it out at most races to come and I'm looking forward to it.

Definitely not in the next two tracks. Suzuka's my C- track while I'll likely be in D2 at Monaco. Even then, I need to carry a jug of gasoline inside my Arta just so I can negate my subpar fuel consumption.

The WRS roster is probably the same or even more loaded with older guys/dads - one of the reasons I've stuck around the game. There's at least 3-5 active retirees, IIRC. JUST THINK ABOUT HOW AWESOME THE SIMS WILL BE!

FYI, put up some practice times for Suzuka. Going to guess that pole time will be 2:08.6xx and the D1 cutoff will be a 2:10.1xx.

This might just be a one-stopper race for those brave enough to run about four-six laps with junk tires and with good fuel mileage.
