Oups. :nervous:. Ahaha, Hi Tony 👍

Good to have you here Litchi. Seeing as phil had asked to be in Lotus UK before you, he gets the place. However phil, if you don't mind switching to another car, let me know and Litchi can have the spot. For now Litchi, pick another car and team. :)

Ok so Equipe Verschuur - Chevrolet Camaro. ;)

I'll upload tomorrow then.
I'd hate to see anyone doing less than 33's, the Maserati (test car only) is stuck in the 34's.
Keeps grabbing an inside wheel and dosen't carry speed in too well.

Except if you get in Aderrrms way when he laps you because he will .

🤬 So you seen it! :ouch:. (Note to self never leave GTP up in college)

I saw it too :P

Not too bothered who is my teammate, as long as they're fast :sly: just joking ofc. Looks like it has already been decided that it's Phil, I look forward to a great partnership ;)👍

Biffy I barely read it myself as soon as I seen 2 posts by my acount when glancing up after eating my lunch, I rushed over highlighted deleted and edited.

If they had of got me banned for being really imature at 18+ id of been in the news... if you get my drift :sly:.

Has anyone tried out 16 drivers in a room yet? Might just go with 1 division, depending on how many more people join up this week. Plus, there's 6 people who posted in the interest check thread who haven't signed up yet ;O!

WSGTC are doing full 16-player test races tomorrow, I think there are a few spots open.

Yeah Aderrrm theres a few GT300 spots going free (That need filled) come join me in the Sub 03 ;).

Just did 3 laps with the BMW M3, Lotus Evora and Aston Vantage. Full aero, default transmission, default LSD and default suspension. Surprising results! Test performed at Nurburgring GP/D.

Lotus Evora - 1.33.0xx
BMW M3 - 1.33.1xx
Aston Vantage - 1.33.0xx
I have my Vette tuned up and I'm matching that time.

I'm getting to within a few tenths of that, but not happy with the car. Every setup I have tried is understeer city. Car's not broken in yet though.

You guys havent beaten my lap times? :dunce: Looks like these cars suit me well... Or you guys have destroyed my lap times and are saying that so I'll relax and get surprised on the race :D

No, I managed that lap, and the rest have been 33.5 to 34.0.

Car isn't very consistent, and the brakes suck.

What I did is raise the front by 5 and added -0.05 toe in the rear. At least with the Corvette, it makes the car predictable to drive which is a big plus compared to the old Z4. My only issue is that the gearing's going to be tricky. Based on the power and torque charts, I have to shift really early.

Believe me, this is one of my best tracks and I'm at 1:33.1 atm. This is only with 20 minutes of driving, though.

just lurking about... looks like I need to find time to do some car testing

Not sure if this works for the rest, but with the Maser set to super stiff front springs and dampers with moderate rears it points much better.
Also removed all the rear toe on it and added some negative at the front.
Went from squidgy and understeery to decent.

By the way here is the video of the practice laps in the overweight and ru-run in Maser:

Please give me tips.👍

On the tight right-left at 0:27, take a tighter line on the left, so that you get a better run out of the tight right. Get as close to the kerb on the inside of the right as possible, without touching it too much because it will unbalance the car, especially the Maserati. I find that corner it's best to miss the apex by a foot then it is to go on the inside of the apex by a foot.

You did it better on your following laps but try stay out left a bit longer, it will mean you're off the gas for less time.

Yeah, going closer helps it turn in, very noticeably for the Maser. And that kerb on the right is absolutely brutal, will watch that.
Oh yeah and for the downhill right after that section, should I take it as a double apex or turn in early?
I also think I need to work on my steering accuracy. With the new update it's abit viscous-ey.
But Im suprised though, the Maser's inside tire reaches it's limit under braking so much earlier than the other tires, earlier than any car I've ever been in.

Phil, or anyone else for that matter, knows anyonye who might faintly be interested in this racing series, shoot them a PM. 👍 Not letting this thing fail again.

Id sign up if I didnt find out there was no deffinative car for me, atleast for GP/D  all 4 M3, Aston and the Chevys .1 between them all! :scared:

So further testing is need .

I had the same problem Paul. The 3 cars I tested were all within .1 of each other. I could have tested another track, but too much work. :P I could tell already from that 1 testing session the cars were close to each other. Decided to go with the most fun car. :D

So here's the plan. If we don't enough 24 drivers by Sunday, we push everything back a week. If we don't get 24 drivers by the following Sunday, we do 1 division of 16 drivers (depending on WSGTC test results tonight).

"If we don't enough 24 drivers" Aderrrms human a typo!.

He's human on all of his life, except behind the wheel. He goes through a transformation from human to alien as soon as he touches that wheel.
