Thought I'd share something I caught at CES that made my jaw drop, I was just strolling along lurking through the gadget flotsam and saw this:
Now, I put it on my grandmother's grave, I assure you, I did not take this company's logo and use it for us. In fact, it made me all cross-eyed just thinking about it. It took hours for me to make our logo... what are the chances that this company from the UK have almost the same exact lettering?! (save for the slight change on the E)...
Well, it seems that they haven't had this exact lettering for too long, here's a snapshot from their website earlier in 2011:

You can see the current lettering at their website now:

As you can see, they had a different style. And according to the brochure I picked up from their booth, they recently went through a whole style identity change in which, I would assume, they maybe got the new logo as well (it was so funny, the rep's even had PURE logo shirts, looked like our own freaking F1 team or something XD. So legit. But don't worry, I wasn't quite nerdy enough to bother them with a trivial matter impossible to explain, they'd probably think I ripped them off). So if they had made the change AFTER I had made this logo back in late September last year could they possibly used my logo as inspiration? Maybe I saw their old logo by chance while making ours back then as well and used that for inspiration... yet made the same changes they have now?! sdkjbgfru, who knows. I know this is pretty dumb, but I was quite tickled by the whole thing.
But further proof to my claim is that I completely made the logo on my own is that the font style is the same (digitall 01) through out the descriptors and modifier text in other versions and badges of our logo, e.g.:
haha, so it just trips me out endlessly. What are the chances that we have such a similar logo? I don't really know, but ours is cooler anyway because of the progression filter symbol, so they can keep their successful iPod accessory company. I'll stick with my bros.
Anyway, here's some more pic's from CES you all may find relevant to your testes -
Here I am trying out the CSR-Elite on nvidia's premium sim rig, iRacing Williams F1 car in "nvidia Green" at... an oval *do the big awesome cheesy movie guy voice*

Got to try out some of Thrustmaster's new goodies at the TM booth; including the TH8RS H-pattern shifter, or, the most solid shifter I've ever felt, the F10 wheel, and the Rseat! (which was comfy and quite solid as well).
haha, and btw that's just a random dude in the Rseat btw, not bald.
Just my regular sim racing set up:
