In addition this week race seems to be very hard and posibilty of rain, I'm really scared guys :scared:

You don't have to worry about the weather for this weekend's race at the Ring. We aren't running with variable weather, only variable time.

thought I got a 15.2 as well hmm or could of been 15.4

sorry SG15 was my fault you got caught up between mine and wardez incident, I got angry and hit my steering wheel and hit the pause button (oops), computer took control and moved to track. However I was still spinning at this point so anything could of happened. But incase it was my thought I'm sorry

Don't worry mate, i didn't see you after the smoke of wardez :dopey: Eddie you have to sdhare with us where you found this cigarrettes they are the best, it seems. Paginas races are races and this was just a incident ;)

good news!!! but nurburgring 24h it's still very difficult have to test a lot this week :P

That was a pretty epic wipe out, yes.

hah, I'll get fastest laps up a little later if they aren't done already.

Hi guys, i'm back from NY. Had an awesome time there!
I hope you guys had fun races while i was gone.
Looking foward to race this week.

Anything changed at all while i was gone? Rules, etc?

Start: The start Line that we will use is located after T1, under the "TOTAL" sign. So you can all take it easy thru T1 and sort yourself on the straight leading down to Eau Rouge.

Good luck, and have fun!! 👍

After re-reading the pre-race announcement, I realize I completely botched our start of the race. All I remembered was that we were going to start under the sign.

I am usually much more dilligent in making sure I start in the right place. I apologize, as my mind was wrapped around a few other things this week.

I appreciate all of you for not tearing into me for this mistake. 👍

But.. I would like there to be a penalty of some sort given to me. Obviously it was an advantage for me to start my race early.(Even if it doesn't show in the results :)) I apologize if this affected anyone else's race.

Edit - Welcome back Minion. I look forward to racing with you again.

He's back! Glad to see you made it there and back alive. I don't think anything has changed since you have been gone but I could be wrong. Tony is still winning and Mule is still crashing (:) love you, mule).

I don't think you need a penalty, bromigo. An hour and half+ @ Spa in a monsoon in an NSX is enough punishment.

I agree I felt sorry for the NSXes esp when I caught up and seen how careful and slow they had to go..

@Brosif and Paul...

Thank you guys for being soo cool about it.👍

My car sucking in the rain, shouldn't let me out of a penalty though..

How about if we moved either Jeff(Owens) ahead of me in the race results.. Or, move Jeff and Dennis ahead of me in the race results. Those poor guys had to deal with an NSX in horrible conditions as well, without the benefit of a head start.

As much as I feel for RedReevos (My friend, team mate an all), he will recieve IP's (Infraction Points) for jumping the start. So will Tony as well.

Both have agreed and accept a penalty. Me and Eddie need to look up what the IP's for a jump start adds up to.

It was a to large mistake to not warrant a penalty. I believe that both tony and RedReevos was in the end of the kemmel straight when the rest of us reached the startline.

A big 👍 to the rest of the field that stayed in formation. Good job!

However, the race result stays untouched. We'll throw in the IP's in the pointstable after race 10, and let the math do the job.

Yes, very cool of you Reese to consider as well as every one else for being empathetic toward the mis=understanding of the starting point. We'll be better about stating the race specifics a bit more clearly.

The penalty for jump starting should be the same as track cutting so it'll be 20 IP's as per penalty guidelines listed in the OP.

And the great thing here, is that nobody need to "tear into them" for it either. That would have been really disappointing, both have shown to be among the cleanest and finest races out there.
🤬 happens, we get penalties when we screw up, all is well.

Obviously I don't think it really helped either of them for the long run, for what that's worth.
It's my fault for making such a big deal about how awesome our starts have been. We were due a mix up, right? :D

Glad we found the culprit:) 👍

@Dennis and Eddie - I am not sure what the penalty equates to. But obviously I broke the rule and it did give me an advantage. Penalty fully accepted.

I don't know the situation with Tony, as I was long gone.. lol.. But it was probably mostly my fault for him jumping as well.

I'm honestly shocked the field didn't go when you did.
I remember thinking, "where the hell is Tony going"... OMG, Rees is gone!"

Funny stuff in retrospect.

My thinking was uber-retarded in that case. I saw Rees go and i thought the after T1 start was for another series or something so i went for it(first retardation). Now as for Den and GV not moving much, i thought they were spinning their wheels because of the inters([2nd retardation], me and Rees had hards). Yeah i know..

That's actually not a terrible train of thought, now that you mention it.

One thing I did say before the race, iirc:
RH - 0-25%
RI - 20-75%
RR - 60-65%+

From what I've seen, surprisingly the Inters have close to RH grip, they just burn up on dry track, it's the rain tires that really suck, and they'll be pulverized on even a 40% track, meanwhile having no grip whatsoever.

GT500 Tests.
I'm going to try Pure specs after this for fun. :)

These are all 'stock" specs, with full aero, miles and oil, and top speed setting set up for each to reach it's true top speed.

Cool stuff! 👍

You run the cars totally stock?

Gear Ratio?

All cars dead stock, with oil changed and miles.
All cars with full down force.
Gearing was simply moving the top speed slider for each car until they peaked at or next to peak HP in the top speed run. (GTR @ 7000, Z @ 5600, etc)

How's the sheet look? It's a copy of my first.

Wow, that's cool!!

Where's the Aventador? ;)

No, but seriously, that's a really nice sheet you got going there. Only thing you should add are an official lap time to reflect the handling of the car. Suzuka?

All cars 100% stock. No mods at all. Only broken in with oil change.. A list like that would kill!! 👍

Btw: How do you start from a stand still? You just floor it, or you try to keep maximum traction?

Haven't decided on the car pack yet. :banghead:

That's a good idea. 💡

Depends on the car, whatever is fastest. The GTR's and SC430's don't have the torque to pull out in 2nd gear, so their times are a bit "extra slow" for acceleration.
I might do the cars I used second gear over, to more accurately display the exact differences.
YMS Supra, Castrol Supra, Z, and NSX all used second gear launch. It gave them an advantage for -60, etc times, but making them use first puts them at a disadvantage with all the wheelspin they get.

Hey, at least I'm notable for something!

I actually spun out in the RX-7 race early on, too, but I still managed to lead the most laps. :)

Correct, this Sunday's race at the Nurburgring will not have variable weather. Only time of day will change.
