Nice freaking job Mule. I'll add the time. Going to sleep now. Thanks Muzz.

Hopefully the attrition rate is high and I'm not part of it for once!

When is the deadline guys? Had planned to do it last night but moved my brother out of his house all day yesterday and then passed out :-(

I can jump online in 10 mins if anyone is around?

Scanny did an after deadline q in my lobby but had a wee crash early, carried on for a bit but quit out on the 5th sector of his q.

I'm not too sure what happens here as I see the dnf qualifiers have different times on gate19 so here are the splits I have.

S6 - 32.787
S7 - 27.774
S8 - 48.934
S9 - 36.843

I'll let those wiser than I work it out.

Muzz

Hey muzz very sorry for earlier, it wasn't that I had no damage at all, just brushed the barrier, car was fine, was actually in quite a good rhythmn

I'd promised my old man that I'd help him with towing a car, wasn't expecting him till lunch time which is why I said I had an hour or so. Anyway, missed two calls off him while practicing just before my run then half way round my lap he's looking at me through my living room window shaking is head :-). No one else was in the house so pretty much had to shut it down and go straight away.

Really sorry for messing you around, gutted to be honest as I had a reasonable shot at d1. Never mind, guess I'll be starting at the back.

I'm back online now and will set another room up if you want to practice a bit more, I see you're still online

No worries mate. Stuff happens.

I'm off to bed now, shoulda been there a couple hours ago but got carried away practicing for GTfusion.

I was really hoping to make this race. I've just been too busy with getting married and moving to a new town home. I really want to get back to racing!!!

Ok, 18 drivers on the sheet..
OwensRacing, WiiFreak, Paginas, Adventuruss and SG15 are not racing..

I'll host D1.

Who'll host D2? Anyone?

Alien96 and posimosh?

That was a Bmw of some sort to start with (1 series or Z3 or 3 series turned into and hatch?), he was a local out to showoff and you can see how that ended... Also that Bmw M power engine looks ok lets have it :sly:. Also just noticed the Mini crashed in the background .

(Muzz found out that Irn-Bru is in Australia now ;).. not sure if its in NZ though..)

That car most certainly is a clown shoe (z3 m-coupe)

sad to see one die, they're awesome cars

Yes, awesome car!! 👍

Joshua1994: Unfortunetly, yes. We was 6 drivers in D2 in Round 5 at Monaco as well, but the racing was still awesome! 👍

yw, great job on that lap too 👍 (what'd you end up doing with the diff btw, that was the only thing I was still tinkering with)

One of the things I like about the ring is that it's so diverse the fastest setup is one that's stable and easy on the bumps. So I have some generalizations that transfer nicely to pretty much any car.
I'll just have to make sure to get fast lap and win D2 for us. :)

Your diff settings of 10/25/5 are a lot more aggressive than anything I have ever run on the Autech Motul. I put my generic settings of 6/12/5 on my Godzirra which helped my corner exits.

I hate to say it, but after some practice. It's obvious I wreck every lap. This will lead to a very uncontrollable car as I limp my way back to the pits. You have to understand the frustration this would cause a person. So with that really no choice but to skip this track. Very sorry.

I want to see you race so if everyone else is okay with it I wouldn't have a problem letting you race in D2 with a Nissan or Lexus as long as it had 120kg of ballast. Or you could race in a Nissan or Lexus with no ballast but you wouldn't receive any points for your result. I know you as a racer and have no doubt that you wouldn't jeopardize anyone's race by making some type of stupid move. I just know you would like to be out there and I don't want to see you in the grandstands when we have such small field for D2.

What does everyone else think about letting Owens race in D2 in a fat Nissan or Lexus???

I'm fine with that.
His result will not count tho.. He wins D2, 2nd take points for 1st etc. 👍

I'm perfectly fine with it. Racers will be racers; and racers belong in the racetrack 👍

For instance, I believe I'll suffer in this race, but I'm still going out. And God knows I suffered in Spa, but I finished.

I also suggest he takes points for at least last place in D2, instead of no points at all. He's racing, after all. I know it makes little difference but...

So just to be clear, Owens can race in a Nissan or Lexus with 120kg of ballast but will not receive points for his efforts, correct?

Does anyone have a Nissan or Lexus they can loan Owens? CSL?

I'm not so sure Jeff is keen to be out there at all. If he's like me, it will be a 90% dislike of the track and 10% car :(. At least I'll lose some ballast for taking part ;)

I'm awake and feeling a lil more mentally capable. Gonna spend the next hour working on a calm state of mind. Picture the bad parts of the track.Hopefully, Get myself Mentally prepped.

If I show. It will be in the NSX. ;)

Tighten up your setup, a lot. Maybe Dennis would be willing to give your some NSX setup pointers.

Sure..

High deceleration value.. 30ish..
Much lower front.. -8 / 3 or similar ride hight.
Rear toe: -0,08ish.. If still to tailhappy, go more neutral. Let's say 0,00..

Hope that helps.. Oh, one more thing. For this track, more than any other track in the NSX.. "Slow in, fast out" 👍

You know what. You guys express this much care in a driver from the series. It's only fair they/I make the race and see what happens.

See you guys in Germany.

Oh, Dom!!

Are you sure you got my quali time right?

Cause when I'm watching my replay, I get 5:51.169...

Edit: Great to see you racing Jeff!! 👍

wow, just noticed my car is over 1500 miles now. long season. ;)

btw, what are the time of day settings for the track?

And here's a D2 Race Room:
