CSLACR: You got minimal hope for the WOODONE ADVAN GT-R?
I think it's a really competative car at stated specs.
Still have to try it a bit more tho..

We got 18 cars at the moment. We'll see if we can get the ENEOS SC430 and BANDAI DIREZZA SC430 up to par, the rest are looking good even though I know we need to test some more.

Just remember the core aspect of this series guys. Collaboration/participation is key to this series' success.

We highly highly encourage every one to have their input. Anything from talking about their favorite color on the cars to a full spec test sheet with results is fully appreciated.

So spark up a little conversation, voice a concern, anything. It all makes it a better place here. You'll notice that you'd have to read through most of the thread in order to fully understand the direction of this series since it's not all posted in the OP yet.
This is intentional to see who really is dedicated enough to meet our aims. If you try to just show up on race day and run, you'll be missing out on a lot, we'd like to avoid that.

So far you guys have been awesome! This is just a heads up for any newcomers.

The Bandai did okay, it's just low on downforce.
The Advan and Enos hurt my brain to think about.

Has anyone tried to run straight line speed tests with and without DF after the spec 2.0 update? Because if things remained the same then there is no point in running non-maxxed out DF settings as there is no significant(if any) speed gain.

I have done some serious km racing the ADVAN GTR in other championships and i can guarantee you that with 9bhp more than the other GTR's it will not be on par at any track. It has the same amount of grip of the other GTR's on the front but less on the rear and that makes it more difficult to drive and also less tuneable. Therefore i would suggest either banning it (plus the other 2 weird cars, ENEOS,BANDAI) or do some very thorough tests in order to finalize their specs on a good level (impossible IMO, considering all the performance parameteres).

I agree SuperSic.. I'm working hard to get the ADVAN GT-R on par.. I'd say it's 50/50 I'll suceed..

Swedish "Kronor" is strong atm, so it's not impossible.. But only a Ferrari if any..

My exam schedule for this semester has been released and I now know that I cannot make either of the December races. Because of this I plan to race the FMSC (I probably won't advance to it's final race on December 11) instead until the new year and join you guys for the second half of the season beginning with race 6, if you will have me at that time.

Please take me off the 100% list. Add me to the reserve list if there will be an opportunity for me to race starting in January. Thanks and sorry I can't participate for the entire duration of the season.

i've followed this whole thread so far, really liking it. i'm very new to gtp and all you guys but not to racing. raced with a few of you guys like remy_k and nepalli and had a ton of fun so far. been interested in the WSGT series but looks like that'll be delayed awhile and hoping i might be able to try this out if it doesn't conflict with my other series too much with the time. we'll see how that goes on. i really like that i see all of you are very good clean racers and thats what i'm always looking for, don't like driving dirty(but mistakes happen). keep it up you guys. 👍

Interesting, T. Do you think the ADVAN GTR is lacking in mechanical grip in the rear, or is it simply an aero related deficiency? If it's aero related I'd imagine putting a restriction on the quicker GT-R's (YH, Calsonic, Xanavi,etc.) rear aero would probably solve this to a good degree. Of course that would makes those cars more difficult to drive (but maybe a bit more fun for some), but then again they are already much easier to drive than a lot of the other GT500 cars, which initself is quite an advantage in a long race where consistancy is key.
