Just wondering, does anyone know if installing Chassis Rigity has a negative effect on the GT-R? It seems like I'm flying at times yet I'm still in the 58's

Sorry but just really could do with an answer on this đź‘Ť

And it seems like my persistence finally paid off, down to 1'57.5 now, which I'm quite impressed with. Better watch out Dennis :sly:

Had my first hour's practice earlier and got down to a 56.6. I don't if the ARTA is different to the Takata or I was a bit rusty from not playing GT, but there was a lot more oversteer with my takata tune. So for the first time ever I started playing with the differential (go me!) and I think it's made my car better. Still working on an all round good lap and I'm yet to fully break in the car. Any other NSX times out there?

I've been testing with the modifications and with CSL's setup, but it's not looking good. I've driven many different tunes today, so it may be right for me to call it a day and go at it tomorrow with more energy.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I'll get somewhere! :)

Denilson has his Raybrig in P2 right now @ 1:57.5

Aderrrm.. In the Takata, my best is '57 flat. I was .3 off my best in T1 and had a bobble in T2. I think I can hit a '56.5. I would be happy with any low '57 in qualifying.

At '56.6 after an hours practice, and not fully broken in, is extremely impressive. By just breaking in the car, you are going to be extremely tough to beat for pole.

Haha.. I'm watching my back all the time.. It was not a smart move to quali that early.. But I did not know if I could get enough time later in the week, so decided to go after just an hours practice..
And also, it's good to set the bar early to get interest up, right? đź‘Ť

I just pray it will be enough for D1. :scared:

My PB is currently 56.7.. :banghead:

Didn't realise Dennis was in an NSX! Thought he was teamed up with Remy again in a GTR. :P Can't wait until everyone is qualified over today and tomorrow. :) I think this division system will be great aswell.

Sorry about leaving the room unattended earlier! I was cleaning my room and found an old warplane book I thought was lost forever, started reading it on my bed and fell asleep. I'm getting old :yuk:

Is the room still up? Anyone who can watch my qualifying lap? I won't be here for most of tomorrow so I should qualify today.

ROOM UP AT:

1472-6118-4130-9219-5458

GV27 checking in. Will be on for about one hour.

ROOM CLOSED. I'm still in just in case anyone wants to qualify themselves, or verify me.

What happened with NOSS's quali? I got a weird pm from him telling me he had damage from lap 1 and only managed 59.2?

He spun out of spoon on his 1st flyer.. Recieved susp dmg.. Then he had a tough 2nd lap because of it.

Bad luck, and a shame.. But that's racing, and the season is long.
And when keeping in mind that 2 races will be dropped, I'm sure he'll be a strong compeditor for the championship dispite his unlucky quali.

Sounds a lot like my qualifying for season 1... Sorry to hear that Nos :/ you really are blindingly quick here after tackling the challenge.

I guess I'll have to trust somebody to be here tomorrow at my night. If not, I won't be able to qualify. Good night everybody.

GV: What time will you be online? I think I can help you out. On the other hand, deadline is closing in fast, and I'm sure a lot more guys will be on tomorrow.. Saturday and all. đź‘Ť

If you're good to go I can hop on now.đź‘Ť
If not, I should be around tomorrow, and presumably a plethora of others as well.

Okay, I know this isn't going to be well received by any of you here, but I'm not racing here at PURE. I apologize for telling you this so late, only a few hours before qualy deadline.
Im feeling frustrated driving my car instead of having fun. It's a shame, really, Im going to miss driving with the amazing drivers that are in this series. I just don't feel well with the car and I don't want to be a potential danger on the track and ruin someone's race. Im at the 57's in Suzuka which isnt bad but just not satisfied with it. Not blaming it on the car, its also my fault as well. I dont feel well with the car, dont know why. Maybe Im getting rubbish . Thank you so much for the invite guys, and I appreciate it, but its not going to work for me. Please remove from the PURE sheet list(google docs), Wardez, and you can replace me by a reserve driver.
Im going to keep in touch with the series, keep track of results. :) Good luck to all of you here, feel free to share some videos as I want to watch some epic racing. đź‘Ť

My best so far is a 1.57.8xx. I suspect the limit of my personal skill at the moment may be low 1.57s. I'm hoping another hour or so of practise today will let me at least get consistent 57s, because at the moment I'll probably get unlucky at get 58s for qualifying.

I'm still running the default tune with my Monza gear setup, which isn't too bad actually.

That's too bad Nepalii, we would've really loved to have you as you would've been an amazing contender, but as you wish. Wish you could've made up your mind earlier though, but that definitely opens up the car to someone else that was on the fence looking in.

Sure there's no way we can persuade you? This series as it stands really won't come close to happening so strongly again so I hope you can re-consider. You'll have till midnight tomorrow man.

I agree with Wardez. I think if you do this, you'll end up regretting it.
Jus sayin'.

Sorry about not answering before. It was 3am (GMT+1) after all. I think I should be ready to go around 1am (GMT+1) tonight. I was a bit worried, but Denilson, you're freaking right, it's going to be saturday and lots of people still to qualify, so it'll be alright! đź‘Ť

Well, if you cared enough to be 100% commited that'd be great. We just had a spot open up in your Petronas team so there's that.

But yes, we remember you from the beginning of WSGTC 2 and you're good đź‘Ť

But would you like to be put down as a reserve or Petronas or Bandai team? You have about 18 hours till the first race's qualifying deadline.

I would have carried on racing in that but I ended up going through 8 PS3's over the summer so I gave up racing. Been getting back into it again by racing in the GTF Euro series but I am just so slow at the moment, need to race more to sharpen up!

I don't mind either way, I can stay as a reserve and if there is room for me tomorrow I will race? Sunday is a tough day for me but I can shift things around man.

Infact reserve would be the best for me as I have not got the time to test or qually so like in the WSGTC I can just turn up and race?

Either way I'm ok with whatever

Yeah, sorry I didn't let you know earlier. Im aware of how competitive and fun this series is, but Im just in a position where Im not getting the results I want. Im extremely competitive as you have noticed. Nothing against any of you, its just me. I had seen some people on the reserves, so I knew I wasn't leaving the car alone.

Again, good luck to all of you here and I'll follow the series race by race. May the best win đź‘Ť @CSL I thought about this for a long time and even put the possibility that I could regret this decision but now Im sure this is what I want and I wont regret it. I still have FMSC. I'll just wait for you guys to finish this, and maybe we can race together sometime later. :)

And Aderrrm's on pole. But not by much. Good luck to the rest of the qualifiers coming on early today. I'm gonna head to naptown, checking in with the nap mayor, cheeeeers man.
