Unfortunately he got bit by a sand trap in each lap. Made a good recovery to post the time here.

Still managed to grab a 2:06 after missing the brake point at the Hairpin and going straight into the sand.

I had a 2:02 in me which I would have been happy with. Oh well.

EDIT: Wardez, the link you linked to is just some advertisement site for Gates. :lol:

So now all we need is to confirm the hose for D2... Litchi said he's ready to do it, although we'll have to make sure his connection's good enough before letting it go all the way.

I can't seem to log-in. I assume it is my psn/gtplanet name and then whatever password I chose when I signed up. I will keep trying. Only registration required is the one from the original log-in when choosing car choice, correct?
 
Tried that with the original invitation code.. Says I have an invalid invitation code..

No worries, we can sort it out tomorrow. Probably just user error.

edit - Yep, user error. I signed up under RedReevos, and tried to log-in under redreevos. The CAPS make all the difference. :lol:

Pretty chuffed myself tbh, somehow I made 5th sandwiched between some great drivers. Didn't even expect to make the top 10, thought that Remy, Wardez and Red would wipe the floor with that time. And Dennis probably isn't best pleased that my time is .007 faster than his :lol:

Really going to have to come up with something special to keep those Takata's behind me as well as challenge CSL.. :scared:

That was a great qualification Biffy. If you can run the pace that you ran there, you will have no troubles in the race whatsoever. You made up a lot of time since we practiced earlier in the week.👍

Good luck tomorrow mate... It should be a fun race.
 
Regarding the deadline:

I totally understand those who react against the postponed deadline.
I must admit that I did not see it from that perspective.
I simply wanted to make sure to get as many drivers to qualify as possible.

In the future, I suggest that we keep the deadline.. And then have a second deadline that's open for another 5 hours.
However, any time set in the later quali window should be penalized with 2% added to the time..

That would be about 2,4 seconds added to a lap around Suzuka.. Does that sound fair?

No idea on the whereabouts of the others but Minion said he's willing to qualify in the morning with the 2% cut.

I can confirm this. Just tried signing in and keep getting an error.
 
I just woke up.
The 14pm GMT deadline is over? I'm really bad with timmings zones and thought 14pm GMT is 1:30 hours from now.
Theres a 2% penalty for qualifying today? If yes ill just start the back, its ok.
 
We've always said 9 hours before connect time :/ Sorry Minion.
