FYI I finally opened the copy if forza4 that has been sitting on my coffee table since last weekend. I'm not impressed. I have already blown like 15 bucks on "add-ons" that were "added" on the release date. As an aside, how can they be "added" if they were finished when the rest of the game was... cynical money grab if you ask me, oh well, I guess i shall just keep chucklin' every time I see some sort of hyperbolic "gt5 s u x" statement by an ebot on xbl. To be clear, I don't really care which is better or why, but I am thankful that T10 is pushing PD to create and maintain a better product for us users. T10 really should have added some features that aren't made to show off at consumer electronics shows, you know the features that an actual user uses once?.... maybe... Anyhoo.. just though yall might be interested.

Btw, does anyone here have a sim rig/cockpit? I'm in the market for one and I really don't want to make a bad purchase :/
Really liking the Obutto Ozone V2 and the GT Omega Racing Simulator Pro so far... Hopefully someone can fill me in on alternatives. Been going through our sim racing hardware section on GTP and it's still a bit vague on most set ups.

Yeah I'm not one to pole myself. The Omega and Obutto don't have a centerpost either, which is what I definitely want.
The Rseat's cool and all but it's the same price as those two I just mentioned yet doesn't come with a monitor stand or keyboard and shifter mounts like they do.
And thanks for the link to the Playseats on sale, good deal but I really don't want that center post.
I'm liking the Obutto a lot, and with that optional base/desk addition it could be an amazing general purpose gaming space, which would be amazing. They just say that the seat itself is somewhat small (just like a real racing seat lol) so I don't know whether it'd be right for me since I'm rocking a 38 inch waist.

Anyway, in my research I've stumbled across the most amazing rig I've ever seen:
And yes, the guy in the picture has his own name on it... maybe he put together the paint job?
The cockpit base is called a Human Racing GT Chassis and it goes for over $2,000 USD...
Anyway, I'm extremely jelly. Can you guess what car I'd be driving if I had this?
The base rig itself is just gorgeous, looks a billion times better than anything else out there... looks like a part off an F1 car. They even have a Red Bull liveried one that looks awesome. and the set-up itself is just brilliant, if money was no object, I'd probably grab one of these even though I could get something crazy, it's compact as well as super sturdy, which I like.
