SG15 failed HSV inspection.

Seems he is confused. However we let him fix it and he failed again. So we sent him out of the room and continued on.

Very sorry. SG15. We will get you and specs square this week and not have this issue again man. Poo Happens. :(

I'm probably giving up on this, guys.

Last week it was awful qualifying and race finished because I got disconnected from the room.

This time qualifying was fine, but I got involved in a crash. And even though I was facing a race of complete loneliness and fighting with nobody, I kept going on. But I got disconnected from the room again. This time it lasted a few laps more, but if it's going to continue like this, I'm not doing it.

I fu**ing spend a **** ton of time during my already busy week to practice for this, only to ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS have some kind of bad luck. And now getting disconnected? Seriously world? Seriously?

EDIT: I'm not retiring NOW because I want to wait a couple of days to cool down and think it over. But if I had to take the decision now, I'd be done with competing in GT5.

Join the club. At least the game allows me to race for about 40-50 minutes.

I had all of my alarms set up properly, but my speakers were somehow muted, just a little thing ruined it!

I'm so sorry guys, I have no idea how it happened, but it won't happen again, gutted when I was woken up with a phone call and realized what time it was.

And Josh, wow man! Keep it inside PM's, never seen you like this.

To be honest, I was between the rock and a hard place, becuase I had Josh on my right and Will on my left. If I pushed too hard, I'd hit Josh, and if I pushed too little, Will would not be able to avoid me. I really tried not to hit anyone... but it was three-wide on the fast kink before corkscrew, and I had nowhere to go. I'm sorry Josh. I know it's a racing incident, but I'm not happy with it 👎 I should have just let you and Will both through.

As for the starting procedure, I'll take (part of) the blame. I did the last corner too slow, but I wasn't worried as the usual procedure is the pole sitter slowing down so that everyone can catch up... but everyone kept going at the same speed!! So I just went up to around 120km/h to try and catch up, but didn't dare going faster because going faster than 100km/h on the main straight was technically a jump start, so I wanted to catch up without going too quick (actually that's why I didn't try any overtaking on the first corner), and I think Dennis was caught off guard by that, and kept going at 100km/h, as the rules say.

Although I say I take part of the blame because my move caught Dennis off-guard, I really have no idea what I could have done better in this case. So something else on the cars ahead of me must have gone wrong? Anyway...

We'll just have to investigate the incident and reach a mutual understanding. It'll be looked into, thanks for reporting in the first place. Feel free to either post in the gate19 forum about it or just send me a PM.

Believe me I wasn't near the car in front of me, too. It was a bit messy. I know it's frustrating, and I'm not going to judge first corner because I obviously do not have the replay. But Dennis didn't act wrong on the starting procedure.

As opposed to WSGTC and GATE, where the pole-sitter could pretty much decide where exactly to start the race, in JGTS, the race starts at a specific time. So it was theoretically impossible for the race to start before that. So, going by the rulebook, Dennis did not have any reason to go faster than 100km/h until he crossed the start-finish line.

Messed up again.So pissed.
LOT of lag.can't control car normal.disaster of race
after crash i wanted to quit immediatly but somehow i decided to continue till I hit padded_cell... Padded_ cell, so sorry for what i did :(
Dont know if this all have sance for me:guilty:

Don't worry Petros, we'll figure it out between you. Thanks for updating.

Well, I'm glad Adam got to race, happy about that at least.

Disconnects, accidents, angry drivers, sounds like the two races this weekend aren't going as smoothly.

My race went quite well, i managed to avoid all accidents. I found a really good pace from my 2nd stint with a PB 21.0. I honestly hoped for a top 5 in this race :(

Yeah... that's always going to end up ugly. That corner is dangerous to take two-wide, never mind three-wide.

D2 went awesome. Paginas, Owens, me on podium. 1 disconnect, one retirement and one ragequit.

Thanks to Jeff for giving me the heads up that D2 was missing drivers!

My plan to start off the race was to hang in the back and just wait for people to make mistakes. Sort of worked out, but at the start I was having framerate issues which caused me to make quite a few mistakes and kept me off my normal pace. I knew all week that I wasn't going to be able to 1-stop, I just can't do it in this car. Once the tires get to 1/3 or more wear, I just hate it. So I pit at the end of lap 17 (4 tires, no fuel) and then again at the end of 37 (4 tires, 16 liters). My whole last stint I was worried that I wouldn't have enough fuel. If we had to run 5 more laps I would have been in trouble. :nervous:

The last few laps, even short shifting to conserve fuel, I still caught and passed the 1-stoppers that were having trouble with speed on old tires. Caught up to Welsh on the last lap but we both made a mistake in the second to last corner and I couldn't get past him. So a result of 6th is much better than I had expected. Although with all the drop-outs and DC's, that helped a bit. I think at best I was a 10th place car.

Edit: Ran a personal best of 21.21x and strung together a bunch of 21.4's. I just couldn't do 20's in this car. My driving style won't allow it.

Start: Yes, I was pretty far behind.. I could've perhaps accelerated more to catch up.. But partly for reasons already stated by Alex, I decided to keep the pack behind me under control.
If I had floored it at that time, you guys behind me woul've got out of your positions, and the gap I had in front of me had transfered a slot or two down with a worse placed field.
Maybe wrong, maybe right...

But, as soon as I saw the guys in front go, so did I.
When I reached T1 I was right up WiiFreaks bumper. Since he started ahead of me, it was obvious that the gap I had up to him once me and you guys behind started was gone once we reached T1.. So I fail to see what so big of an issue.

I'm sorry for touching you so you went out in the gravel Josh.
It was tons of cars in T1 and I had someone on my inside, and all of a sudden, you was on my outside.. The tap was'nt hard, and you got on to the tarmac pretty soon.
I did'nt think you had damage (did you?), and I saw it as a race incident.. We was still in a close pack.

But I'd like to ask you Josh, to back off with your capital letters etc.. I've been racing thru WSGTC 1-2, JGTS 1, and many other series without one single incident.
Calling me out like I was some random divebomber is'nt the correct thing to do..
I'm really sorry if what happened during T1 destroyed your race. But since you did pass me, and after that was involved in another incident which probably ruined your race much much much more than what happened in T1, perhaps you're just upset..

I finished last, but had a pretty nice race after all.
Had a few funny laps on really worn tires with Dom in the last 4-6 laps.. We collided in the corcscrew on the last lap and I lost 11th and 12th to Dom and Tim right there..
I was'nt expecting to do better than 12-13th anyway, so pretty happy with my race actually.. Apart from ruining other peoples races which I sure hope was'nt the case.

Well done to Adam and Tony for lapping me.. My main goal as soon as I realized that you 2 was looking to lap me, was to prevent that from happening.. But I failed.
Really sad for some DC's.
And well done to Jason. Nice driving. 👍

Hancock isn't online. Plc?

Just assumed I wouldn't be able to race so i went out. Gutted I missed it but will be a bit more prepared for next week and hopefully put a better Q time in.

I knew going in I couldn't turn 56 incident-free laps in, not at this track, a little pissed I couldn't keep it to 2 though, could have saved at least 6th (maybe 5th) with only 2.

And a 1 stopper appeared to be an absolutely terrible strategy as I expected.
Honestly, I think if I ran a top-level race incident-free, I could have been racing for first/second. Just because they 1-stopped, and I 2.(A slightly botched 2 as it worked out, plan was 16/36/57, did 14/37/57 dues to first incident damage)

Owens and Paginas both 1-stopped in D2. Most people did, I think. I 2-stopped, and I think I would have been up there fighting for the lead at the end, but I made a couple of silly mistakes on my 2nd stint.

Had a lapped car behind me, and although he didn't do anything wrong, I was a bit nervous having him behind me and lost focus. Then before I know it, Owens has caught me, and I make a couple more mistakes. Had to short-pit as I killed my tires doing so.

I didn't actually hit anything, though. That's even more impressive than getting 3rd, imo.

How would you feel if you're letting faster drivers through, showing respect to them and then 2 of them hoof you off, ruining your race.

I could've been way more aggessive at race start, but I wasn't, I respected those around me and gave them room and got "mugged".

Despite early pit for damage I worked my way back up from 2nd to last to 8th (consistent laps, steady car, excellent tyre wear), then got hoofed again when letting a faster guy through :banghead:

Most people in the same situation would be rather p*ssed I think...

Apologies to all - forgot about the no-quit rule incase it glitches for a split second when quitting..

I had serious red mist, I just had to leave...but no excuses, I should've known better. Speak to the guys I've raced with past 2 years, rage quitting is extremely rare for me.

Sorry again to all.

The start was a little messy, Adam and Tony accelerated away from last corner and I was probably too slow to follow and suddenly we neared the line so I gave it some throttle to catch up, leaving a hole down to Nige. I am sorry if that was my fault, and it was apparently also like that further behind.

After a number of laps where I tried to hang on to Tony, Nige almost caught up, then crashed on Rahal :(. That left me rather alone, with Tony in sight but more and more out of reach, and with a nice gap down to Jared (skengdigi) and Dom (CSL). I just concentrated on driving safe and maintaining the gap, and lo and behold, actually managed some consistent safe driving.

I was on a 2-stopper, and got out of first stop in 8th or so, with a lot of traffic on old tyres ahead. After a few laps I caught up with Adventuruss and WiiFreak, and made the crucial mistake of getting impatient. Made a stupid move on Wii which only cost me damage, and a lot of time every lap for the rest of the stint.

3rd stint was one long hunt on better tyres than the opposition, first passed Adventuruss, then spent a good number of laps on Nige who had made a big comeback after his early crash. But eventually Jared in 3rd had a too big gap due to the time I lost in stint 2.

Anyway I had a great race with everyone I met
