Lap 2: 1.34.923 Clean

Outlaw4rc
Lap 1: 1.34.591 Probaly clean
Lap 2: 1.34.434 Clean

Steward: me

Thanks for qualifying me.

After running a .3 in a mock run and and point .4 in another mock run .9 was a bit of a let down. Maybe I can win with a fast pit stop? I have spent a lot of time working on that aspect.

You do realize Tony's in this series, right?

Yes :sly: But he might fall asleep alone up front, drift of the track and crash. I still have sectors for a 33.9 so I figure he will be in the 33.3s~.

Maybe everyone in front of me will miss the brake point for turn 1?

Maybe I'll find a line and run mid 33.5s all race?

Unlikely, yes. Still, I can be optimistic.

Let's just say on my end, the "beat the alien" gameplan is the same every week:

1. Qualify right behind alien (usually P2)
2. Maintain position and stay in draft during first two laps
3. Continue feeding on draft for the entire tire stint. Do not pass unless absolutely necessary.
4. Pit lap before or same lap as alien
5. Have fast outlap to stay in draft
6. Repeat #3
7. Make your move on the last lap
8. Win

9 out of 10, I screw up number 1. :dunce:

Anyone online?

Been busy the last couple of days. Bit late to get on now, but I'll be on tomorrow/Saturday morning after 1 AM to qualify and watch.

Kinda bummed, I was looking forward to trying this series out tomorrow but life went and got in the way. I'll have to join in next week.

I havent been on GT5 since I qualified last Sunday. Will open a practice room in about 90 minutes when I get home from work. Probably gonna run a full 36 lap mock race to test my tire strategy. Anyone wanna join? I'll wait to start if so.

Can anybody stop by to watch me

Room left to Outlaw and Wardez

We had a good race.

Important note

You will run out of gas if you do not fuel up at least 4 liters of fuel.

And guess who found out the hard way? Why does this always happen to me?

Real shame too because that ruined 35 laps of on-the-edge driving. Eddie are I were never more than 4 seconds apart. He led stint 1, I led stint 2, and he just got my draft on the penultimate lap with fresher tires. So wish we could've settled in on the track, and have another classic, epic finish.
