I sincerely hope the wheel bug from pCars 1 where your wheel vibrates like crazy and the ffb completely changes is gone now. There's nothing more infuriating from pCars 1 then getting that bug at the beginning of an endurance race.

End rant
Yeah that one's been around forever. Thankfully a quick race restart sorts it out.

Just turn off the game and restart. I know it's a pain but it's a surefire fix. For now.

that's not a fix and the Pc problem was fixed but the console was not
PC issue was NOT fixed. Greatly reduced but not eliminated. It still shows up from time to time.

Also a race restart is not an option when it happens after a pit stop in an online league event. Driver either suffers through it or declares a "mechanical issue" and parks.

In most cases it fixes itself during the next pit stop.

I've been seeing/hearing about a fair amount of GT3s on "Pirelli Dry Hard" tires. Is that the only dry tire available in the class?

@The_American

Most GT series will have one compound designated by the tire manufacturer for the track and weather conditions. While there may be a hard, medium, and soft compound, only one compound would be used for a specific race based on the tire manufacturers decision. In other words, you will not see a team switch between hard and soft during a race.

At least, that is how the series that I follow will do it.

Although in PC1, there were 3 compounds as well as the Inter/Wet tyres so it may just be the case that they've only used the Hard and neither the Soft nor Medium was used.

I'm aware, but since this is still a game, SMS might bend the rules a bit. There could even be more than just Pirelli.

I don't know if this has been asked but is there some kind of incentive to stop people quitting online races early?

But it can be turned off right? I remember it being said that the entire rating system can be turned off for when you want to have some fun with friends. What about toggling specific parts of it?

I apologize if I came off as rude. I figured at least thanking him for his efforts showed I wasn't being rude. I was thinking about editing it and adding "With all due respect" but I thought what I wrote would get that across. My bad.

So lemme try that again. With all due respect, I don't want his answer. I want one from the devs :)

i'm just a WMD member , hope this is enough ;)
Yes, you can switch on/off the rating system for privat lobbies.
And as in pC1 you can also config the penalty system with just a some more options as before
What exactly do you mean by this? In pCars 1 you could only turn off flags and penalties or have them on. There isn't any customization.

Can you ride curbs now in GT cars? In pCars 1 a lot of the GT cars want to over rotate if you use inside curbing or they try to take off to space on some curbs that weren't sausage curbs.

Are there systems in place to punish people who like to use extra track on entry and exit. Systems such as punctures or less grip on greencrete and Astro turf.

that mean you could switch that off/on basically. Now you have more options, like ....., ..... and .....
And ....also. Ok, more is not possible to leak currently ;)
Did you have to tell the higher ups that you want to answer this and ask what you're allowed to say?

Gt cars don't handle kerbs too well in real life as they are such a stiff and low riding car, same as formula one cars, the smallest kerb in GT cars can make the kerb look bigger than it actually is.
