Gold list updated to include Sonora thanks AstonMartinDBR9 for the heads up.

Also added this to OP.

Next set added to OP.
Nearly done now. I think anything else that looks gold is really rather yellow or beige. But still have about 10 more to do

Updated OP.
Nearly done, unless anyone can find other colours that look gold that aren't listed, then I think I only have 3 more to do. One GT colour and 2 that I still have to find.

Maya Yellow Pearl

Thanks for looking.
Hope this helps you find the gold your after.

Big thanks to Monet for sending over a few of the colours used in this collection.

Butterscotch
Maya Yellow Pearl

Will have a look this evening.
At least Butterscotch shouldn`t be a problem...

Why did you cut manufacturer from the list? That`s a big help if you are searching for a specific chip.

Maya Yellow Pearl is Volvo, right?

Sorry about the list. Cropped it short by accident.
Here its the correct version.

I love a nice gold colour, Chevy Riverside and Olympic Gold get used a lot on my cars along with Honda Gold Metallic.

Good job on finding all the others and documenting them for us. Have some cake on me.

OOOh The Mysterious Cities of Gold there's a blast from the past. Not heard that theme tune for a long time.

and Thanks Nurburgthing. I like Riverside and olympic as well, they are the 2 i have most of, but since doing this i have taken to Mustard mica and inca gold as well. Both slightly stronger warmer colours.

I just found this thread (linked from The GT5 DLC/Rare Paints database V.3.60).

I haven't read it all, but nice idea!

I've made some Top Secret tribute cars in the past. I tried '69 'Vette "Riverside Gold":

And then preferred Ferrari 512BB "Oro Poly", now called "Gold Poly":

But, I've now repainted all of them Audi quattro "Gobi Metallic". I don't have any pics, though.

I do, however, have a Butterscotch chip to spare if you'd like. You've probably gotten one since March, though.

I personally use Gold Metallic from Nissan, I think it was on the 240z. GT5's lighting plays merry hell with it though, sometimes too bright etc, but it's logical to think it might be a Nissan paint, given that a large majority of the cars they've performed wonders on are Nissans.

(I know it doesn't look it, but all of these cars are painted with exactly the same paint chips!)

Thank you for putting this list up, it is a massive help. I was looking for a gold that is similar to a Subaru Impreza's wheels. I think I'll try Mustard Mica. If there is anything that you think is more similar I would love to know. Gold Chrome is one of my favourites there. Does anyone know how to get it as it looks really really cool
