While its hard to tell due to all the leaves, it looks like it has quite a lift kit and suspension on it. And while normally I would still consider the possibility of it being a posuer-mobile, he beefed up the drivetrain considerably for it to just be a grocery-getter.

Of course, he could just be an idiot.

The door handles should give it away pretty easily... as will the badges and filename.

Why on earth would you do that, when you've already got a better looking and simply better car overall, from the get go?

I'm not saying that the NSX is a bad car, it's not, it was great. But it's an old car and it was never improved that much during it's lifetime. When it came out it was bench marked against it's contemporary Ferrari the new at the time 348. The 348 wasn't Ferrari's greatest hour and the NSX was a better car. The 355 that replaced the 348 was a good car and bettered the NSX in most respects. The 360 was an even better car. The NSX was great in it's day and beyond, but Ferrari moved the game on considerably.

A NSX with a 360 body kit does no justice to either car though 👎

I'm confused: Are gullwing doors better for HARDCORP OFFROADING than standard doors? Considering one of the main weaknesses of the design is what happens if you roll the car, and considering off-roading gives you a significantly higher chance of rolling your car, I'm not sure whether such an idea was wise.

well, maybe he was going 44" Monster. Y'know, 4WS, 5-ton Planetaries, mountain motor, ridiculous gimmick, could end up on 66" Terras someday...

Not really useful for much more than truck shows, but, meh, as long as he runs over junk cars ONCE...

It all boils down to personal preference. Sure, on the track a 355 or 360 will be faster, but does that matter in the real world, on the streets? Just think of ownership costs, for instance. Ferrari does have a pretty limited network of dealerships, whereas you can service an NSX at just about any Honda/Acura dealership. Not to mention you could buy 2 NSX's for the asking price of a 360...

I mean, sure, there's the whole image thing... but again, personal preference.

This car is ugly and wants to die:

Questionable (in fact, not even questionable, just WRONG) on so many different levels:

but it got kambur, and i herd its gud for rasing so i tink it not keschunabl, but it very cool.

I will tear the wheels of of that thing and fix the suspension if I ever see it.

I'm not sure about the Volkswagen, but I'm not so sure the Civic's suspension design even allows for that much camber. even if you had basically no upper control arm, the big bushing on the trailing arm would have twist something gnarly, in a direction it's not supposed to twist very much in. I'm thinking he just laid the wheel in there crooked and set the car on top, to look cool in the slammed thread or something. Poser.

Unless that's a Mexican Beetle, that's an unholy travesty.

It's Brazilian. Same diff.

I'm pretty certain it's on hydraulics...

All the same, you don't drive on the sidewalls, even five feet. He's asking for an irreparable flat...possibly sump damage, definitely rim damage, too.

Sidewalls aren't tread. You can't drive on 'em.

EDIT: Duke, that pic I was referring to has exceeded it's bandwidth limit.

Might be less questionable if it was all one colour (and not all that "primer grey") and didn't have a stupid, badly-fitting bodykit on and nasty blacked-out lights. I didn't take a picture from the front but it was equally bad.
