My parents wanted me to buy this car instead of my c3:

The purple exterior is actually kinda cool, but that interior is really questionable.

Doesn`t look to bad you say? take a closer look.

Where is my panel gaps? anyone? And it`s a 79. this thing has 80-82 bumpers except for the missing front air dam.

Cars like these are all around where I live. It`s the Norwegian equialent of Riceburner Civics. We call them Schnitzelburning Beemers... (no really)

Apologies for the slow reply but feel free, I'm not sure of the source as a friend passed it on to me but I'm guessing by the car the photo was taken in which looks to be a Saxo, it was spotted by a member of Saxperience.

Found some more Volvos:

142 with a 162 front and engine. And tasteless rims:

Not really questionable but still. Good condition PV modified and tuned a long time ago. Engine changed to a 2 litre (from 1,8l) and bored to 2,1l. Widened by 6cm, discbrakes:

600 hp Volvo stationwagon? Questionable? well, yes. Awesome? Yes!

I see that FMIC and it scares me.

I think that guy ran a 14.5+ at 95. (Granted, that's about half a second slower than stock "official" times.) Not many R's get above 300whp. A couple eclipse the 400 mark, but they don't count. I would guess the car in question (I think it also has a catback and some other pointless bolt ons) 260whp.

Jet, to save a lengthy post, I will just say that I disagree with many of those in your last post.

The first one is how they're supposed to be done. It's the same rims as I have on my 744 btw, only mine are not painted white.

I agree with you jet1991 about the Beemers and the ricers though. It's exactly the same here in Sweden. If there are two things I hate in this world, it's bodykits and oversized spoilers.

It appears we have 3 stages, the chrome side pieces disapear from the first (red one), the black and such appears and then in the post which was given originally the roof crap appears as well and more green shows along with a red center strip on the rear bumper disapearing at least. I can't see the last few (4) pictures, but there's certainly more changes in the final ones I can see on the post by Mesh as that which we saw previously.

I always find it interesting to see how a car gets to a certain stage, even if it's just to see how such god awful cars come about.
