Here's a car named "Acurabot".

Nothing too out of the ordinary as far as this thread goes. The inside is what makes this car 'special' though.

I question anyone who would actually want to spend that much money on putting electronics into their car (it's a stable car for Blaupunkt). With the money put into that, you could get a really good home theater system. Heck, you could probably build a mini movie theater for your home with that money...

But that Ontario license plate scares me. It probably means that exercise in vast amounts of over-indulgence is a few hundred miles from where I am...

Also note the location of the tachometer.

Got a poster of that in my bedroom

It's a demo car for Blaupunkt, it's not like someone built that with its own money...

Suspiciously similar...

I can't find a pic of the interior but it's highly similar inside too.

That C2 was on Top Gear.

They said the people that modded it (screwed it) spent £100,000 on it. You might as well get a new car...

heheh id like to know how big a battery and alternator the acurabot needs to cope with all that power sucking crap!

also is there really any need for 8 screens and 11 gauges!? wtf all i need is 3 gauges (speedo, tach, fuel) hell i prolly dont even need the tach i could tell when 2 chang gear by the screaming comin from the engine bay! saying 'please dont do this to me!'

I actually like that gas cap thing. And the Peugoet looks like the car from Taxi (even if it's obviously what they were going for). And that Camaro isn't that bad. There is one up the street from my house that is a '71 that has holes in it from rust (like holes that you could put your fist through, straight through the body work. One even goes into the trunk). And I'm pretty sure it has no floor.

This mod isn't all that stupid - hiding the filler behind and the taillight and keeping the clean lines the designer ... ehhrmmm ... designed... Good idea in my book !...

I'm pretty sure I've seen the Sidekick on the road before, and I saw that hideous RSX/CRX frankenstein type thing on the road on Friday.

And you think Ontario is bad for ricing? Try Quebec, especially Montreal. Tons of crappy ricer stuff going on there.

And I remember that 100,000k Citroen on Top Gear. With that much money, why the hell don't you just buy a really kickass car, like a new M5. Heck, you'd still have around 30,000 pounds left over, and not have front exhausts (possibly the single most stupid modification I've ever heard of). Oh yeah, and the M5 is also fun to drive... I bet that Citroen handles like a 1000lb bowling pin.

Oh, I know that... Hardly 5 minutes go by before I'm laughing my ass off at another car's look on our roads.

The Sidekick is either on hydros or air cylinders.

And I've met the guy with the CRX/RSX thing, it looks pretty good in person I must say.
