What your opinion of sticker bombing?

I quite like it... đź‘Ť depending the car and where you place it, it can make your car look pretty sweet...

Or just awful:

Went to New Hampshire Motorspeedway for WDrift/Drift Spot and a Hot Import Nights car show was happening at the same time. Pretty big event... And brought several distasteful cars to the event. I only got a picture of a couple of them, but there were cars that were just as bad as these:

I think...this might be a Tiburon? With S15 headlights and G35 taillights...

Red LED headlights and these doors. Already on the FR-S. :yuck: It was at the little Scion booth too.

I saw one in the UK, and it looked quite nice. It stands out nicle. In America, however, I think it looks ugly. Funny how that works.

I like the taillights. The shape of it, being Lexus's first (is it?) foray into a hatchback, was doomed. But, the lights, and the things that Lexus has been doing for a while, were quite nice.

It has a very nice, organic quality to it that I like. It's mildly aggressive, too. However, I feel that the design doesn't flow well enough.

Doomed?

The CT200h is still alive & well.

I really hate the hatch on it. The design was doomed to be looked down upon by some GTP members.

It's like the IS series. It's not Lexus's flagship, but it's still one of the nicest looking cars they've ever made. Every. Single. Time.

And the GS series is just stunning to look at. Same for the SC. I love Lexus styling, but the CT series was... in my opinion, a dropped ball.

Hei
Doesn't it have the same damn drivetrain?
It does, but to my knowledge, Toyota is keen on applying it to anything that's a hybrid in their lineup.

It definitely does not drive like a Prius at all, though. The F-Sport model even manages to be a bit entertaining to drive.

Doesn't it share a platform with the Scion tC?

According to the internet, these cars are all on a variant of the "MC" platform:
  • 2006- Toyota RAV4
  • 2007- Toyota Corolla (2009 in US market)
  • 2007- Toyota Camry
  • 2007- Toyota Aurion
  • 2007- Lexus ES
  • 2007- Toyota Mark X Zio
  • 2008- Toyota Auris/Blade
  • 2008- Toyota Highlander
  • 2008- Toyota Corolla Rumion/Scion xB
  • 2009- Toyota Matrix
  • 2009- Toyota Venza
  • 2009- Toyota Avensis
  • 2010- Lexus HS
  • 2010- Lexus RX
  • 2010- Toyota Prius
  • 2011- Toyota Sienna
  • 2011- Scion tC
  • 2011- Lexus CT
With such a wide range of vehicles (wikipedia calls it "a versatile platform"), I suppose you could say the CT and Prius are unrelated in that they aren't built off of the same variant. The page for the CT itself implies it shares more in common with the Corolla and Matrix.

The red headlights seem unsafe, though. Red normally indicates *taillights.* I can just imagine a poor old lady innocently swerving into the oncoming lanes to follow "the guy in my lane with the red lights."
